Definitely a new race before class. But remember, nothing is off the table!
…and creation of parts that may cause bugs in other areas, making it way more hard to implement.
And considered we’re still plagued by bugs, I’d say this is a huge driving point.

I feel like legit farmers like myself getting punish or something. I farm Frostgorg champs train everyday for few hourso to make my end game need since i’m kinda broke in life. Anet should let exchange gold to gems to get the same rewards as to buy gems w/ money.
They should yes, but it’s like them sending out Christmas cards to select individuals. Favoritism for the win.
Anyway, some will argue they haven’t done enough to earn the financial support of players. My stance is, based on experience, use your real money for real life, and use gold for virtual items you don’t need.

I mean, so cool! Can’t wait. Scarlet!

They’re sending out mails over a few days. If you spent enough real money on virtual items you don’t need, you’ll get your Quaggan backpack (just dyed green) in the mail. Make sure you have room though.

Grinding, farming, chasing carrots. Best time ever.

Working as intended.

It’s a lot of hype, so we’ll see how the substance is (this hasn’t worked for them in the past). The only thing I can think of is “yay more scarlet” and LA getting attacked (good thing we’ve never had to play through that before). Time shall tell.

If you have the slots open try other classes and see how you like them. There’s no harm in that.
I have a handful of 80s and find endgame rather boring. It’s even a chore to level my alts through the same content over, and over and over again.

Through hard work and a long time, to build up influence. Invite other people to help speed it up a little. The other options are whipping our your credit card, but I highly suggest not doing that.

Our beloved Gaile said today they’re sending them out but it could span a few days as they ship them out. After that if you don’t have it, e-mail support.
Simply a Quaggan backpack colored green for spending real money on virtual items you don’t need. Neat though.

Honestly? They really don’t get parody do they? My post wasn’t an attempt to stir up controversy but poke a bit of fun at the often repeated idea that there’s always some nefarious motive behind any change.
I’m sorry my attempt at bringing a little lighthearted levity to the thread fell flat. I promise in the future to refrain from humor unless I include a disclaimer.
Some of us enjoy your humor though. Somewhat related, I could forward you correspondence that states I’m not allowed to joke on the forums here. That aside, I think the forums are doing just fine.

Not even close. Most the stuff you don’t need or get when you grind AP and get the chests. The only thing close to value are the keys, but then you play the RNG game and in the majority of those cases, you lose bad. Another pass for me.

And without question there needs to be some regulation on trading.
JS will never let that happen.

Simple solution is to not buy frivolous things to begin with.

Good way to try to get you hooked on the horrible RNG keys too, what with the discounted “package” and all too. Surely a coincidence.

More items you don’t need in the Gem Shop.

I don’t see this to be terribly exciting. You know Scarlet is involved, so that’s an instant turn off. “But OMG, possibly a new dragon.” So? We already have dragons including the “big one” and it’s a bit of a snooze fest. What will we have, a Battle of Claw Island remake? Jam everybody into the zone so it crashes (think Southsun cluster fark) and get items in the mail as a “sorry”?
In the end, we grind for achievement points, gamble at RNG skins and place our newly acquired minis and backpacks in the bank and watch as the damage to the city is fixed. I simply cannot wait.
P.S. Vote Evon

I find it boring at level 80 and I have a handful of them, and that’s including doing most avenues in the game (LS, PS, WvW, guild missions, etc). I refuse to participate in any of the carrot chasing/gear grinds. Your experience may vary.

New maps only keep you busy and interested for so long. When you run it once it feels like a horrible chore to do it on your alts. Then as somebody mentioned, you’re back in LA listening to the kiddies talk about their plans to grind away for the latest item being dangled like a carrot.

Well that and they probably realized those people could spent real money on gems and were attempting to remedy the bad image.
Also WvW isn’t high on their radar because it’s not a money maker.

Injustice, Oppression, Elitism, and Favoritism, is this the future we need?
I’ve noticed a lot of that from the developers and here on the forums from those who run it.
But to contribute to the topic, I don’t look forward to anything exciting from GW2 in 2014.. I’d happily pay a sub for one of these up and coming games though.

Things change. Namely change what you have to, to bring in the money.

The above few posts make some good points. If you need to waste some time you could just log on to do dailies which is what a number of people do, while you wait for the new MMOs of 2014 to be released.

I remember when they released another tier of stuff, it was like Christmas! I was afraid I wouldn’t have anymore grinding or farming to do. Also I shed a few tears when a gold got you only 11 gems, as it allowed me to farm even more gold for gem shop stuff and gave me plenty to do. There’s just too many good things to fit in one post.

Just run around maps uncovering them and doing the heart quests, just avoid the toxic champ farmers in Queensdale. Once you get 80 you can continue your farming and grinding for top tier armor/weapons followed by creating alts to repeat the same old content over and over again. Welcome to Guild Wars 2.

I would say glitch, you can get through several doors in towers and keeps on several different classes. Stupid i know but Anet doesnt seem to think this is an issue worth fixing.
Then again knowing Anet, this could very well be an issues that they CAN’T fix.
Probably both. It’s been going on for a long time now.

I think the difference is GW2 advertise itself as this “non grindy game”.
The other mmorpg never advertise it that way.
Not to mention many former GW1 player bought GW2 because they thought there were be any power creep. Apparently there are at least some.
I don’t think that many people will be outrageous if this is another game forum. It’s just so they believed Anet won’t ever release any new tier which apparently they did.
Yup.
