I personally like when people use the rune. A lot of times it procs right while they are trying to use a heal skill. Follow their mist and then hit them as soon as they return to normal form.
Easy win.
All rewards in wvw and EOTM should be based around killing players.
Getting rewards for caps allows k-trains to form.
Even last night in EOTM, BL was opening walls for OG. It’s going too far now. Single guilds are commanding all 3 teams and avoiding each other on purpose. Looks a lot like map fixing.
Just move EotM to PvE where it belongs. Problem solved.
Are they going to show the new WvW map this time? Last time the stress test seemed to be some PvE map where you can kill players.

You are too kitten the balance team. After 6 weeks of hard work figuring out how to balance the ele, they came up with the following. They heard the users and decided to buff ele.
•Ferocious Winds: Fixed an issue that caused this trait to contribute toughness to ferocity instead of precision as intended.
•Fresh Air: The internal cooldown for this trait has been correctly removed.
I still think either the ele balance person is on vacation or they are just trolling us at this point.
So either the patch notes are incomplete or the person balancing Ele is on vacation. What’s it going to take to bring dd ele back in line?
Also, is the mesmer balance just trying to troll us? You reduce the recharge of mantra of distraction. Seriously?
Wow. I’m definitely glad these ideas were never implemented. Sounds like someone missed the sign to EotM. Go play there.
So you want to be able to outplay mesmer….. by dumbing the class down for you.
Here’s a novel idea. How about you increase the skill of other classes by increasing their access to skills. In otherwords, giving your favorite class tools with which to add counterplay.

I’m happy with the change. Most thieves have no clue about their role on the team. That leads to them being the biggest reason for a loss.
You’ll always see a place for top end thieves on certain teams (very similar to mesmers prior to the patch). It is just no longer a MUST HAVE on a team in order to do well.
Having lots of people play mesmer in pvp does not mean that lots of people are successful at playing mesmer in pvp. There are a lota wana bes trying it out. In the first match Elia posted the mesmer got the lowest score. In the second match the two mesmers on the team got the two lowest scores. In the finale match with three mesmers, the team got decimated. Do some of the mesmer traits need to be toned down a bit? Yes. Is mesmer really as op as many people posting are making it seem? No. Evidence above.
You do know that individual score doesn’t mean anything right? It makes the rest of your argument invalid.
I think pretty much everyone who isn’t a dd ele or Mesmer know that both of those specs need a nerf.

Yeah, matchmaking has been broken ever since they released the new system. I think the developer who was working on it decided to give up.
Yeah. There used to be 8v8 but players liked it too much so ANET removed it.
Anyone who argues that Mesmer is balanced is either 1. a Mesmer 2. someone who doesn’t play the game.

What is wrong with the balance team? Maybe we should start a kickstarter campaign so that ANET can hire some balance people. It’s just embarrassing at this point.
The problem with ele is NOT burning damage. It is the fact that it has too much sustain for the damage that it can deal.
Remember. Mike is the business side. Colin is the game side.
Mike won’t have any clue about what players aren’t want. His job is to make sure the game is profitable enough so that we can all continue to play.

Engi. – Lower than the other 3 in this category but ok. Nothing special. Just a barely average class.
Harder to rank:
Ranger: You don’t see them played much at higher levels, but their condi aids spec is really really good right now. Most of the players just haven’t moved on from power ranger yet though.
Thief: This is the hardest for me to rank. The class seems great with a top 10 thief, but otherwise, it is a liability to the team. In most PUG matches, the team with the most thieves loses.
All free agents is definitely a better way to go. After all, the event is named PUGquest.

Here are event ideas:
1. One event with PPT and holding structures means 1/3 of the normal point total and points her kill counts for 3x the regular points.
2. One week where flame rams are disabled.
3. Varied matchups. 2 weeks of winner moves up, loser moves down. T1 and T2 are stagnant on the NA side. Time to mix it up.

Turrets are thankfully useless in PvP. They are not fun to fight against and when stronger, they make the skill required to play too low.
Bountiful theft should NOT be baseline. If anything, the additional 3 initiative should be baseline.
The meta is fine. dd ele and mesmer just need to be toned down.

Big difference between players trying it and players continuing to play it. Remember, EotM looks good, but isn’t well suited for fights. The new map suffers from the same issue.
Serious question? What’s taking so long to make changes to mesmer and dd ele? There have been countless posts at this point with ideas on how to improve it.
Before the skill update, someone from the team mentioned there would be frequent changes since things would be unbalanced. What happened to that?

Maybe rewatch the events from yesterday. At least 3 teams used necros. They are really strong at the moment. You just need to adapt your play style.
I’m sorry but none of these ideas make any sense and do not address the probems with Mesmer atm, just random nerfs for the sske of nerfs.

The damage on rampage is fine. It just needs the pulsing stability removed.
I’d like an option that will allow me to receive no thieves on my team when I solo queue. Unless you are a top 10 thief, you do more harm than help for your team. Try a different class.

If stealth is your definition of passive, I hate to see what you think of half the traits in this game which actually require no user involvement.
Mist channelling is IMHO perfect as it is now. Having to use hard interrupts is a MUST. It brings a whole new dimension into the fights at the channel-spots: dealing damage has to be coordinated with keeping yourself and the one channelling alive, interrupting the other teams channelling etc.
If dmg alone would suffice, it would just be another teamfight….

Another team fight is what I want. There is already too much PvE in the map. Anything that can encourage PvP is a positive.
I disagree with the OP.
Glass cannons drop fast as they should. More bunker type classes can stay along for a really long time. Look at all the complains about dd ele.
I don’t want a 30 minute game. The timer is effective in those situations where you have a lot of bunkers.
The game mode itself is fine. They just need to find more ways to encourage the PvP aspect on the map. That’s why I argue in favor of allowing channels to be interrupted by damage. That means the team who wins the fight gets the champion. Right now it is whoever has the longest pulsing stability.

1. Channeling a hero should be interrupted by damage, not just cc
2. Players should not be able to channel while in an invulnerable state.
3. Eles in the down state should not be allowed to run through their base portalBeyond that, this beta was definitely more fun than the previous one.
Interrupt on damage would be too much. It would slow the game down too much.
But there are issues now too. I can plague channel and never get CC’d.

Nice try, but both of those classes can do quite well in stronghold.
Because most thieves are terrible. Honestly, if I could have an option that said don’t pair me with a thief, I’d do it.
Unless the person is a top end thief, they are pretty much only good for killing really low skill players.
1 is bad enough on a team. 2 is auto loss most of the time.
Hotjoin was horrible experience for new players and it definitely an improvement getting rid of its button.
Wrong. Given that matchmaking is broken, it is better to give them a place to practice before joining unranked or ranked teams.

Try another class if necro isn’t working for you. Necro can be really good. Your issue is that you are probably trying to play the old meta builds and things have changed. Adapt.
