Oh, absolutely. It’s the request spamming for a portal like its expected to be there already. You know, when the entitled mob show up.

It’s not an awful idea but I just shivered at the thought of people using speed buffs just as I jump and the constant spamming of portal requests. Can’t do anything about that, though.

even if you dont like Trahearne, make sure you watch this for the scene at 1:38, it ends rather well and im sure you’ll like Trahearne all the much more.

I’d been thinking that the Pavilion had killed open world for a few days now but today there were a heap of people roaming the open world. I even ran into 4 people doing a heart in Lornar’s! I freaked out and ran away.

If I see any of my LS ideas actually become something I’m going to want a cut of the lucky dip takings.

Sounds like baiting to me. Answer none and its rather awkward as we would have created a male character that we dont recognize as masculine. Answer something and its just as awkward as it would describe what we like in a man.

I love this jp. When I first started playing the game I think every time I tried it I was either a little drunk or stupidly tired. Or both. Now I can blitz through it without thinking. I don’t recommend that training regimen but its really just practice.

I don’t want to belittle the guys with hand issues though (or anyone else!), that can be rough. I’ve seen it in my family.

The Separatists are a much more compelling human antagonist, especially since the human and charr political conflict has very little presence apart from the relationship between Rytlock and Logan and the passing presence in the Separatists. The part about them that I find weird is that they have no charr counterpart. You would think that there would also be some charr angry about the alliance, but you only find that on the human side. I guess humans are just more racist or something. Maybe they wanted to keep the charr villainous faction to just the Flame Legion, but they already have two bad humans factions – bandits and separatists – so I don’t see why that would have been an issue.

I know your post is a little old now bur Charr Renegades in Fields of Ruin are their counterpart. I’m pretty sure that map is the only place you find them, though.

The dead animal Spirits of the Norn is interesting. I visit the shrine in Hoelbrak fairly often and the way I interpret what I read there seems to me that one of them, maybe two, aren’t dead but just “lost”. Somewhere in the Mists I guess. Anet could get their writing shoes on and make a good, strong LS series about finding them.

I don’t find the writing childish. The books I read for my daughter are childish so maybe we just have different take on that. Shallow definitely. It really needs more guts.

As for Trahearne – I’ve always imagined how the voice acting went was like this. The actor went into the studio and asked the director, or whoever, what the motivation was so he could get it all just right. The director had a hangover and just wanted the whole thing over with so he could go home (or out again) and said " The guy is a tree! Take it from there!"

I think we’re supposed to be embarrassed for them. Except for Caithe, and maybe a lesser extent Eir, they all needed their heads knocked together. Showing how the mighty aren’t beyond the perils of behaving like squabbling idiots. Same with the Orders for that matter. They all rise up again beyond that to get the job done.

My take on that anyway.

It’s a shame this thread will probably be deleted. It could be used as an example for future generations of GW2 players on how not behave in all sorts of places on all sorts of levels.

You might get more support from someone but this type of thread rears its head every week it seems. There isn’t much patience for it.

Maybe, at some stage, they could look into a queuing system for people who want to transfer to full servers. Put in your request and when a slot finally comes up you have 24 hours to take advantage of it.

I don’t know about this one. I saw it for sale last night and didn’t even bother investigating it. I’ve bought the harvesters without a second thought but I’m not sure here. Maybe its having to pay to use it even though I would own it, as small as that amount is.

Absolutely, Naus the Gobbo. There’s generally a great bunch of people in game. Even if they don’t talk back often their actions speak louder.

I finished logging all my characters on this morning and BOOM! – Golden achievement. That’s all you have to do.

I could see something of this if the Separatists and their Charr counterparts (the name fails me) were the ones involved. Trying to carve their own nations out but choosing the same lands to it in. Maybe deliberately.

I doubt if they would use the Queen’s humans and the Legions since that’s pretty well set for game purposes. But maybe, who knows.

Crashing here too. Plus more lag than usual in various areas of the world. Until the update I very rarely lagged and hadn’t crashed once.

I’ll see if there’s any response over the next couple of days and then submit a ticket.

Absolutely. Once a character has progressed far enough for me to “know” who he or she is then I don’t change anything except appearance. I have a few warriors who use different weapon combinations and are of various races (species!), same with rangers and even engineers. Some are weaker and some are stronger but overall they who they are.

Having said that, I can’t imagine maxing out all combinations. Not this year anyway…

You’re cherry-picking one culture to suit your argument. Look at the body proportions of other ancient cultures, or even stylized humans from the same era. You can’t say, “I found some women with non-barbie bodies, therefore this is ridiculous.”

Yeah I decided not to include stone age fertility charms in my point about art, I obviously have no idea about art do I. Yep a quick search of all the countless exquisite pieces of renaissance paintings and statues clearly shows all the women with DD breasts and men with 12 inch kittenes….

1) Don’t make blanket statements if you don’t want to be misconstrued
2) I personally wouldn’t consider the Renaissance “ancient”.
3) So only European Renaissance-era artforms that you consider “exquisite” count? I think not.
4) Look up Peter Paul Rubens, among many others, if you think that hyperbolizing the body proportions considered desirable in that time period didn’t happen.

Just keep plugging away at it. I’ve come close to finishing this mini-minigame but never have. Stick to the left wall for a bit and then dash across and go behind the tents then try and dash across again towards the corner of the left wall. Its not perfect but its a bit of fun doing it. More routes than that as well.
