Bas: I’ll give you a little advice for “filtering” Daecollo then. Keep him away from hard numbers. He doesn’t have the head for mathing out balanced numerical values, cooldowns, etc.

Keep him to vague ideas and concepts, such as “increased damage for a short time” instead of “+25% damage for 4 seconds” or “several seconds of protection” instead of “3 seconds of protection.”

His ideas sound (and often are) less absurd when you disregard his wonky unbalanced math, and focus on the core of what he’s trying to say.

To date, Daecollo has had only 1 idea I like. The rest were either recycled ideas (nothing wrong with that, but I cant exactly credit him with someone elses good idea) or IMO, complete mathematical rubbish.

Only if it’s impossible for that action to get a different result. Surely I am not insane for rolling a die and expecting to get something other than a 1. Rolling the die expecting to get a 7, on the other hand…

While I am not exactly a fan of the person in question, disregarding everything he says because of what he has said in the past is kinda, like, really bad.

I suppose it’s more of a high-effort to low-reward ratio, than a true impossibility. Relating to your dice theory, it’d be like rolling it till it ends up stuck perfectly in a crevice on your table, where no one side is face up. Sure, it can happen, I’ve seen it happen on rare occasions.

But I’m not going to sit here rolling all day, hoping it happens again.

WvW/PvP GS Warriors. How do you do it?

Hm..nope, also u should know that hb inst all that much stronger than aa as some ppl claims it to be. In dps wise:

2030 for hb
1702 aa over over the same time

Yes, but that’s only raw DPS.
The increased number of hits during that small time frame helps stack a little extra might which also adds DPS, helps proc on-crit sigils for extra DPS, and helps recharge spent adrenaline a little faster.

Also, humorously enough, the reputation of 100b makes most players immediately switch to a defensive mindset as it’s going off.

WvW/PvP GS Warriors. How do you do it?

Thanks for the reply. Numbers also seem to suggest warrior GS is inferior to guardian GS. So then, for all those running warrior GS in WvW or PvP, why?

Because GS has mobility, and melee weapons outside 130 range do 0 DPS.

Pretty much the only to reliably win a fight with GS is run sword and Flurry/Immob Cancel to 100b, Skullcrack 100b, bullsrush 100b, bola 100b….. seeing a pattern here?

Comments like this are incorrect. Daecollo while a bit rambunctious at times has talent as a writer, and while all his ideas are not good ideas he does have good ideas as well. To throw out all the food in your house because you found mold on one potato is ignorant.

His ideas are so consistently outlandish, unreasonable, and completely without any mathematical basis whatsoever, that you’ve got your analogy backwards; it’d be like cutting open 100 potatos because one of them may be good.

And is that not the definition of insanity? Repeating the same actions, and expecting different results?

To put that into less subtle context: Reading Daecollos posts and expecting something rational and balanced, is a legitimate interpretation of the definition of insanity.

Edit: I’m not trying to bash daecollo or yourself, Bas, but there’s this thing I subscribe to called pattern recognition.

The Pro’s of such a direct trade system (which in the case of my suggestion takes on a CoD format) has many of the advantages already stated in this thread, and very few, if any, real disadvantages that I can come up with.

And the 15% Tax I suggested is just to make it so people dont trade for the sole purpose of circumventing the TP. Please dont over-analyze where the fee lands (buyer vs seller); it’s a moot point, and can be easily adjusted.

Sometimes, Combustive Shot will simply fail to go off. It wont launch the projectile, and wont consume adrenaline, but it DOES go on full cooldown. Ugh.

Also, Combustive shot sometimes goes on full cooldown when interrupted (either by interrupting yourself, or when when stunned by a foe).

Well personally, I love keg brawl, and wouldn’t mind the game being available to play 24/7.

The “game of the day” does not exactly sit well with me. Being ONLY able to play that specific game is sorta lame.

I get the concept, to channel everyone into a specific game, so it’s more lively, but I feel they could easily have TWO (or even 3?) games available per day. So yeah, twice (or triple) the odds of being able to play your favorite mini-game!

Also, yes, they’re seasonal, but I liked these games a lot! IMO they should be added into the normal rotation! Keep in mind Sanctum Sprint, and Crab Toss were both “event” minigames that ended up being part of the normal rotation.

  • Dragon Ball
  • Wintersday Snowball Fight
  • Zephyr Elemental Battle mini-game

Or just make Keg Brawl always playable? WOO KEG BRAWL!

I think this is a horrible horrible idea. How would the system, know if your ISP didn’t act up or if you simply shut down GW2? What if your PC had issues and you are out to fix them. There are very very many reasons that you would DC that have nothing to do with Anet, and because it inconvenienced you one night, you expect all of the rest of use to suffer 10 minutes longer in queue for every player that is in WvW. That is preposterous. If I am 10th on the list in queue and the 10 ahead of me only leave one at a time, your idea could potentially add over an hour and a half to my queue.

Never ceases to amaze me how players post ideas that totally hose everyone else, simply because they had an inconvenient evening, which in your case may very likely have been short, temporary loss of service from your ISP. It may prove wiser to take your issue with them, rather then attempt to convince Anet to hose the rest of us.

Based on your reply, I think you greatly misunderstood how my idea functions.

First off, as this is a suggestion, 10 minutes as a grace period is a fairly arbitrary number, that I pulled out of a hat. It is in no way set in stone.

Secondly, I seriously doubt people disconnect very often WITHOUT the intent to return immediately. I imagine that in 95% of cases, they log right back in. Only a tiny portion would be unable to return due to prolonged ISP outage, technical difficulties, etc… therefore this would NOT affect your Queue times compared to if they’d never disconnected to begin with.

Thus, it does not “hose” anyone, In fact, it PREVENTS people from being hosed. Currently, there are plenty of reasons to disconnect. Some are due to ANet but it’s obviously not the only cause.

Just as likely are fault ISP’ and even good ol BSOD’s. In fact, I even suspect my own disconnect was an ISP issue, and not ANets fault directly. Why I am upset, however, is because a 15 second ISP hiccup can cost me an hour of Queue time.

Think of a torrent file, or a bunch of streamed video from netflix, or a huge download for work. Lets say it takes an hour to download…. but you get interrupted at the 55 minute mark? In all cases, the file will typically resume shortly after the connection is re-established, because it’s absurd to restart from scratch for such a minute disconnect.

People in various games have been known to pull the plug on their internet cable to take advantage of such systems and avoid ingame disadvantages.

Stuck in combat and your location is about to fall and be overrun? Pull the cable and get dumped out to deny spikes then just log back in and hop back to spawn? Yeah it would happen to deny spikes.

Besides any systems like this will take longer than getting edge of the mists Live.

This is easily prevented with a little common sense.

If you are disconnected, your avatar remains exactly where he is for the duration of the grace period, with a disconnect symbol next to his name. Thus it wont save you from a spike, or from being overrun, or grant you any other special ability. It’d essentially be the same as if you went “AFK.”

Obviously they want the Hammer brought down. But isnt nerfing UF enough?! Isn’t that where all the OP damage is coming from primarily?!

And why LONGBOW of all things?! It’s our only half decent ranged weapon! Rifle is either so bad it’s a joke, or it’s part of a Full Zerker 20k sniper build.

I’m under the impression that 2-handed weapons actually hit harder then 1 handed weapons and thats suppose to be the trade off. Hit harder or have an extra effect option.

Nope. For example, Warrior 1h Axe actually does more auto-attack damage than 2h Greatsword.

Im 95% sure Anet already said they are looking into this and redoing the sigil system. It was in there Big 6 month looking ahead thing I believe.

Mail System: Charge on Delivery

If you want to trade with people you cant trust you should use the TP. The TP is designed for secure and safe transactions. Transactions through email are only used amongst friends (based on mutual trust) or by scammers. The answer is to use the TP.

The answer is NOT the TP. The Black Lion Trade Post, while awesome for what it does, COMPLETELY LACKS the feature im asking for.

I’m asking for a secure way to trade directly with other players.

TL;DR – Please allow disconnected players to remain, and rejoin WvW for up to 10 minutes after their disconnect!!

Alright, I’ve really had it tonight. I waited in the WvW queue for nearly an hour, before I FINALLY got in. Fine, it’s busy, I get it.

About 10 minutes in, I get a disconnect. I rejoin GW2 within a few minutes. Not in WvW any longer.

I’ve been sitting in the Queue for ANOTHER hour now and still cant get in.

It’s insane, that we have no “grace period” for reconnecting and remaining in WvW. We instead have to re-queue and wait ALL over again!

Mail System: Charge on Delivery

Hello ANet. I have a simple suggestion here, an optional Charge on Delivery system, when sending mail to a player.

The mechanics are simple:

  • When turned on, a player can specify a Delivery Charge, for the recipient to accept the Email.
  • The recipient can preview the message, and any attached items, but cannot retrieve the items till the Delivery Charge is paid.
  • Accepting the Delivery Charge requires the recipient to manually enter in the Gold/Silver/Copper value, to make it difficult for an accidental acceptance to occur.
  • Once paid, the items can be taken by the recipient, and the sender is awarded the Delivery Charge, minus a 15% fee (same as black lion trading post)
  • If unpaid, after 7 days, the mail and it’s contents, will be automatically returned to the sender.

My goal for such a suggestion should be fairly obvious. What does everyone think?

Ascended Armor, When?

Look, I too would love to know when Ascended armor is coming out… but… seriously? You NEED to know when its out?? RIGHT NOW?! Why dude? The games had exotic armor for over a year now, and we’ve all gotten along just fine. There’s no sudden urgency.

WvW – everyone else will get ascended armor too, and it’ll still be a level playing field.
PvE – All content is easily do-able in Exotic armor currently.
PvP – Wont be impacted.

So where’s the urgency? Maybe take the intensity level down a notch….

But seriously. 2h weapons are currently balanced around the # of sigils, so it’s not that it’s unfair that 2h weapons only have 1 sigil.

That’s not entirely accurate, though. For example, on a Warrior, the Axe and Greatsword have similar auto-attack damage capabilities. Axe’s Burst skill even hits (much) harder.

Also, consider an engineer and kits. Two engies, one with Rifle, one with Pistol/Shield. Otherwise they have identical traits and stats. Both use a Flamethrower kit… one is getting the benefit of TWO sigils, while the other is only getting ONE sigil.

I’m not so much complaining about the speed, I’m more upset about the general inaccuracy of tooltips.

If a move says 3/4, it should be 3/4 from start, to completion. Instead, moves tend to be 3/4 + arbitrary animation delay + aftercast delay…. your 3/4 could easily end up being 1, or even 1 1/4.

A lot of people already said this, but yeah. Axe mainhand is a solid choice if you’re intent on doing 1hander and shield.

MH (mainhand)Axe is really good: Axe provides solid DPS, Adrenaline generation, and a ranged Cripple. It’s burst skill, Eviscerate, is devastatingly powerful.

OF (offhand) Shield is also good, it provides an interrupt or easy setup for Eviscerate, and a nice long block.

OF Mace is also good, a ranged, line, knockdown. Again, perfect for setting yourself up to easily land Evis or Interrupting a heal at close range.

Alternatively, Sword is also a really good 1hander choice, except it’s auto-attack is not power based at all. It’s condition based. Final Thrust is power based, which makes it a sorta bicurious weapon.

Same thing! And here I thought it was something with my client or my keyboard!

Sometimes seemingly at random after using some skills, I get stuck in place, almost as if immobilized for about 1 second. I’ve yet to uncover any real useful patterns, but it seems to happen most often after using a movement skill, or something that changes my 1-5 keys. It only happens 1 out of 100 times, making it inconsistent and difficult to reproduce.

And last night, after getting off a Flame Ram in WvW, I was completely unable to move normally. Couldn’t even dodge. I finally used Warrior GS #3. The Whirl worked as normal, and I was unstuck afterwards.

Holy crap you guys never cease to amaze me. So one of the warriors strongest traits, you want switched to a built in feature for warriors? These are the kinds of threads that make people roll eyes at warriors.

Actually, that’s not what everyone here is saying. Ok, well, some are. But others feel it might need the same treatment as Thief initiative, or Elemental Attunement.

In other words, Warriors are so highly dependent on it, it stops becoming a CHOICE. The same thing happened with Ele’s all going into Arcane. The fix isn’t to simply give it to all Warriors for free, it’s to provide alternative choices, and reduce the impact of that trait as a choice. In other words, spreading the love.

I’m surprised this sort of thing hasn’t gotten more attention. It’s a pretty glaring flaw between 2handed vs 1 handed weapons.

And it literally affects every class:
Guardian: Greatsword vs Sword/Shield
Engi: Rifle vs Pistol/Shield
Elementalist: Staff vs D/D
Thief: Shortbow vs anything else
etc…

Warrior GS is pretty good, really.

1. Auto-chain is fine
2. 100bs has Pro: Crazy DPS, Con: Hard to land
3. Whirl is solid overall for evade, damage, and mobility, all in one package
4. Alright, I’ll give you this one…. this move sorta sucks. The projectile speed is slow, easily misses if your target moves even slightly to the left or right, and fails to return 75% of the time. Blah. I’d love to see it replaced with a single target pull, not unlike Guardians GS 5.
5. Rush still (still! after 13 months!) misses regularly, or leaves moonwalking JUST outside melee range from my intended target. However, it’s good for mobility, even if the strike misses it DOES close the gap. Of if you’re outnumbered, it helps you create a gap.
F1: Arcing Strike: Ugh, why is this still the greatswords burst skill?

Ok, so 4 is meh, 5 is a bit buggy, and F1 sucks. But it’s still a solid weapon, and it’s Forceful trait has excellent synergy with a critical build.

War Pvp Suggestion : Fast Hands

I’ll pretty much never run a serious PvP or WvW Roamer build without Fast Hands. It’s just too important; most warrior builds have to chain their different sets of weapon skills together in order to be effective.

For example, Sword Flurry, cancel into 100b (or classic cheesy skullcrack+100b), or Hambow, Comb shot, Earthshaker into the fire field for free might and stun.

You run without condition removal or movement skills? If this is true, you cannot complain about anything…ever.

What he actually said was:

not everyone runs without condi removal/teleports.

Meaning, forcing an opponent to remain inside your Combustive shot burning field is often very difficult. Any smart player will break stun/immob and dodge roll away (or even just casually waltz out).

Combustive shot (and Arcing shot) has a fairly obvious and telegraphed animation.

Pro-Tip: It’s the giant orange flaming beachball sized shot slowing drifting through the air towards a fixed point on the ground. It’s crazy easy to dodge out of the radius before the field even goes down.

Unless im at point blank with an enemy Longbow Warrior, I can easily dodge-roll away before even the first pulse activates, thus taking 0 damage. This means you gotta pin me down FIRST to even get the initial single pulse. By the time the second pulse is ready to tick 2 seconds later, I’ve broken immob, and am outside the field radius, or if im especially sluggish that day, in an evade frame while on my way out of the radius.

Heck, I’ve chased fellow Longbow warriors INTO their fire field, because they’re willing to stay within it. The low pulse damage im taking is EASILY a worthwhile tradeoff for them to stop trying to kite, and let me remain up close, allowing me to shred them. I do roughly 3x as much melee damage as their fire pulse inflicts. I’ll take that trade any day of the week.

You are making the assumption that there is a long-term plan and this is not a knee-jerk reaction to destroy one Warrior overpowered spec and have multiple ripple effects on weapon sets on the whole for all Warriors.

Yeah, whatever happened to not playing whack-a-mole balance?! Isn’t that exactly what this nerf is?

Unsuspecting foe needs a nerf. And it’s getting one. Why are we ALSO seeing hammer get hit? And Burst Mastery? And Combustive shot?

Combustive Shot is insanely strong. It gives Warriors an incredible amount of ranged damage

Insanely strong based on what exactly? In PvP mode, full Zerker and 30 in Strength, it’s power-based direct damage is 370 per pulse, with each pulse being 2 seconds apart. That’s 185 DPS.

If you stand in all 5 pulses, you take a grand total of 1850 direct damage. You’re also probably AFK or an idiot. Most people move out after the 2nd, taking 740 damage. Axe’s Eviscerate, by contrast, does 2,300ish damage. GS’s Arcing Slice (which most warriors consider a joke) deals about 1,100 damage.

on top of having great melee-control and damage with hammer.

That sounds like justification to nerf hammer (which they’re doing) not justification to nerf Longbow.

It was especially nasty when used with Pin Down.

Ping down immob’s you for 3 seconds. Which is 1 and half pulses. I dont know a lot of people who consider 740 damage (2 pulses) “nasty” especially if their opponent is glass cause they’re full zerker. I see a lot of Thieves who pop out of stealth with 5k non-crit backstabs in full zerker, however.

Combined with the fact that it doesn’t “miss” so you can proc your Cleansing Ire

Cleansing Ire only cleans when you consume adrenaline. If you fire and “miss” you’ve effectively wasted your adrenaline to inflict 0 damage, but to clean conditions.

Trading off Offensive damage, for Defensive ability (cleaning condis) sounds sorta EXACTLY like what a Trait in the Defense tree should be accomplishing.

So, seriously Neko, can you explain to me again how this is a broken ability??

Combustive shot’s damage was NOT all that impressive. It certainly does NOT need a DPS Nerf.

And it’s pulse speed is already painfully slow. Again, Rangers Barrage is 0.6 sepnds between each pulse. Combustive shot is currently 2, and looking to be made even worse, 3 seconds.

Combustive shot was already nerfed. It’s already not worth using at level 1 or 2 anymore.

Here’s a way to fix combustive shot, and make ALL levels useful.

Combustive Shot

  • All adrenaline levels place the same size fire field.
  • Duration is 3 seconds per Adrenaline level. (3 seconds at Adren 1, 9 seconds at Adren 3)
  • Pulses for normalized damage every 1 second.
  • Adrenaline gain is 1 per pulse, if the pulse inflicts damage. The number of targets struck is unimportant.

A lot of thought went into the change to combustive shot. This skill was simply too effective at renewing itself. One of the drawbacks of the burst skills needs to be losing your adrenaline, but this skill was easily able to restore all of the adrenaline it lost. Rather than reduce the burn duration we reduced the # of attacks this skill creates because we felt it made it more counterable in PvP and less reliable in PvE as an adrenaline builder.

I already hate the slow “pulse” speed of the CURRENT combustive shot. Once pulse every 2 seconds is painful. One pulse every 3 seconds is even worse.

Look at Rangers Barrage skill. It hits once every 0.6 seconds. It literally will hit 5 times more often than the new Combustive shot.

Now, I understand your reasoning: adrenaline gain. And yes, slowing the pulses certainly will slow the gain, but it’ll also have a lot of impact with actually hitting opponents who are moving around. or missing out on damage if they move into, and then out of, the field between the long pulses.

Think about a 1v1 duel. How long does any opponent stay in a Combustive Shot field? Currently, you may get 0-2 pulses: the initial hit if they dont dodge, and then maybe a 2nd pulse if it takes them too long to get out. Now with a 3 second delay between pulses, it’ll be even harder.

To say nothing of the impending damage nerf.

Instead of nerfing the pulse speed I say improve the pulse speed to 1 second. And if Adrenaline gain is really an issue, then change it so each pulse only grants 1 adrenaline, not 1 adrenaline PER foe struck.

Combustive shot was already reduced in size for the lower adrenaline levels, AND there’s a range bug I’ve been reporting for months that STILL hasn’t been fixed. Please either improve the pulse speed, or leave it as is!

I already HATE the slow “pulse” speed of combustive shot. Once every 2 seconds is sorta slow. Now they want to change it to every 3 seconds?!

Alternatively, Rangers Barrage skill hits once every 0.6 seconds!

Please, Please, Please, speed UP the pulse to 1.5 or 1 second. DONT slow it down even more from 2 to 3!

I’m not even talking about increasing the DPS, that can be normalized and spread across the faster pulses.

I’m a bit confused about Combustive Shot.

So at 3 adren, instead of the Current: 1 pulse every 2 seconds for 5 pulses (10 seconds total) we’re going to have 1 pulse every 3 seconds for 4 pulses (12 seconds total).

Does this seem a little weird and pointless to anyone else?

I personally sort of like the burning pulsing every 2 seconds as opposed to 3. I’ve seen a lot of WvW people run right through my huge ring of fire and get be unscathed because they got lucky timing, andit took them 1.9 seconds to get through the field.

ANet, I’d rather to see Combustive shot pulse more often, not less often. The damage being normalized and adjusted is fine.

Reworking Mending

Mending seems fairly useful to me; 3 conditions every 20 seconds, with a modest heal. In addition it can proc “on healing skill” effects more often than almost anything else out there. Not everyone runs, or can afford to run, cleansing ire.

I have a few ideas about Arcing slice. Currently I see where they were going with the Synergy. It makes perfect sense on paper.

Greatsword F1 Burst adds Fury > Fury increases crit chance > Furious Trait adds bonus Adren on Crit and Greatsword Trait adds might on crit

The problem really, is threefold:

1. Warriors have a high Fury uptime. There’s little need to use Arcing slice JUST for it’s fury, which leads me to #2…

2. Arcing slice is terrible. The damage is lower than auto-attack vs a single foe, plus it only hits a single foe while, auto attack hits 3. It’s a slow (though cool) cast time and animation. The fury would be the only useful part, except with Warrior fury uptime, it loses it’s usefulness as per #1.

3. Strength Grandmaster. Having a +15% damage boost from sitting on a full adrenal bar, is FAR more valuable.

I’d rather see something like:
1. Current damage, and fury, but on a leap animation, sort of like Guardian Greatsword 3
2. Much improved damage, able to hit up to 3 targets
3. Able to hit up to 3 targets, and causes a blowout effect (it IS a heavy overhead slam animation)
4. Even a channeled mobile whirl, not unlike Axe 5

So far, it seems the general consensus (there are dissenters) seems to more or less be in line with my original post.

  • A slight reduction of Healing Signet base, with a co-efficient buff to break even at higher Healing Power levels
  • Nerf/Relocation of Unsuspecting Foe

Another idea I liked was a swap of Armored Attack (25 pt defense) being swapped with Adrenal Health (15 pt defense). When you look at their relative power, Armored Attack is a bit weak as a 25, but seems more appropriate as a 15 pt. Meanwhile Adrenal health is certainly powerful enough to justify it being moved up to 25.

The previous description prior to the 15th path was “Critical Hit’s Grant Triple Adrenaline” which worked correctly.

Now, however, the Trait reads “Critical Hits grant Bonus Adrenaline: 1”
After testing, I have confirmed it’s granting the +1 Adrenaline as it says.

However, reading the Patch Notes, I see no mention of Furious, which rules out an open nerf. The other possibility is that it was a stealth nerf, but a Dev in the Warrior forum confirmed there were no stealth nerfs. That leaves only 1 possibility: this must be a bug!

Unsuspecting foe: 10% crit. That is decent enough and comparable to other classes traits, like thieves extra crit from behind which is actually 7%. And the passive in signet of healing needs to be about half, buff the active to compensate.

I’d say 10% is a bit too low, since it only applies to stunned foes. I was thinking more in the + 25% range. If it were reduced as low as 10, it’d become TOO weak.

An alternate idea is setting crit chance TO 50% rather than ADDING 50%.

As for healing signet… half?? That’s way too harsh. At one time healing signet was roughly half, and people LOL’d at how bad it was.

We all knew it was coming. This quote merely confirms what we already heavily suspected.

Warriors are pretty strong right now, but will be seeing changes in an upcoming patch.

We like how they can be tanky, and we like how they can do DPS if they want. We also like the CC they can bring. We just don’t like them doing it all with 1 build.

So, Warrior Nerfs inc.

Therefore, I’m posting this in the hopes that we dont end up seeing an OVER nerfed version of Warriors, and end up back in the dark ages of the pre-healing buff. I still shudder when I think back to how bad War’s were in any attrition battle….

I think Unsuspecting foe is the worst offender in the entire class, with it’s + 50% crit in the adept tier. It’s easy to see why one might take it in a Mace+GS or Hammer+GS build; this single trait can take a Tanky/CC build and add huge DPS all by itself. The fix? Simple: Move to master, or nerf it numerically.

Healing Signet is the subject of lots of debate. I can understand the issue. It’s a powerful passive heal. I’ve got a few ideas that may help balance it out, so it remains as useful for Tanky builds, but not the Best-In-Slot for all builds.

  • Current Base: 392 HP/S, + HealingPower * 0.05 (467 HP/S @ 1500 Heal Pow)

having to sit and wait around outside of a Zerg because I took myself down to half health is very detrimental. I can really see the pros and cons, and I have a hard time justifying the cries of people who have built evasive condition attrition and used to win against a class that used to have minimal sustain.

That was my experience too, prior to the Healing buff. I would always have 30 Defense with Full Adren, and eat Mango pies, just to try and get SOME kind of sustained health recovery.

Well the thing is, warrior concept was originally a class that “became more powerful as the fight went on”. It was supposed to be the class of attrition. Instead, for many months that role was filled by bunker guards, rangers, eles and the dreaded condi bunker mes.

War had such terrible sustain for such a long time that most war players had to adopt the “full zerker all-or-nothing” mindset to try and burst a target down before they died themselves, as that was the only way to have a chance at winning any type of fight.

When healing sig was buffed, we now once again became a class of attrition

And I think that’s why we’re seeing so much frustration with people playing against warriors. Wars are doing enough damage to the point where they cannot be ignored in a fight, yet they are durable enough where hard-focusing them over, say, a glass engie or staff ele usually isn’t a sound decision.

And that’s why I think they’re in a pretty perfect place right. They are fulfilling the role they were intended to fill.

I tend to agree with you, if Warriors are stripped of their healing, three things will happen.
1. One-Shot Glass-Zerker builds will become the new Warrior meta (again)
2. tPvP teams will go back to running 0 Warriors
3. The forums will reverse their stance and start crying that Warrior healing is UP

OMG I forgot all about snowball fight. That game was the best!
