Harder, and harder to come back to GW 2

Isn’t Dragon Age: Inquisition a single player game? In fact, I’m almost certain it is. That’s a completely different type of feedback. You can’t play a game like DA:I, then comment on the forums about features you’d like to see added. It’s not that type of game. What ships at release is essentially what you will get, save for bug fixes, and then of course paid DLC which they are famous for. And even then I doubt they look at player feedback on that.

For single player games, players seem to trust the developers to make it how they like it, if not people are just disappointed and move on. For MMOs, the players seem to think the developers are a bunch of greedy, buffoons that don’t know anything about their own game or what their players want and will complain incessantly long after they’ve quit the game. Quite the dichotomy actually.

Are you saying that anyone who has ever played a MMO, has never played a single-player game (like Skyrim)?

I, uh, no?

Just commenting on how it is odd to lump a game like Dragon Age: Inquisition in with MMOs when talking about player feedback on forum threads. As someone mentioned, single player games typically are what they are and there is very little change in terms of core mechanics/content, etc (excluding DLC). They aren’t persistent worlds in the way that MMOs are.

They might as well have thrown Gran Turismo or Street Fighter in there for additional comparison.

You are only “forced” to play PvE or level if you are insistent on being able to try every build available. I feel for you, I really do, but if you really want something, sometimes you have to work for it. In this case, fortunately, “working for it” consists of playing a video game in a slightly different manner than you are used to.

yes, we are back with the biweekly releases

No, the next won’t be as big (contentwise) because they had a lot longer than 2 weeks to create this chapter.

Hmmm, so you believe they don’t start working on the next chapter until the previous one is complete? I’m not so sure. I’m fairly certain they work on all of the chapters simultaneously during the long breaks. Then while the first chapter is out, are fine tuning the next chapters. It would be quite the stressful job to have to do a new LS within a two week period like that.

100% agree with OP. I’ve started and finished a CoF p1 run before a speedrunning group that demanded “xpert 10k AP zerk heavies only” even started.

What’s that saying? Cut your nose to spite your face? Something like that. That’s basically what they do for the sake of a “speedrun”.

Don’t want to play but want to fill up pages on the games forums with what frankly you will never get seems to be a disconnect with reality going on. Interesting.

I’d like to think that the goal of this thread, & other threads like it, is to get a better game. Maybe it will be Guild Wars 2; maybe it will be Dragon Age: Inquisition; maybe it will be something else. Whatever happens, at least our opinions are out there.

The Ascended System - How to fix it

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

@OP

But what do you need Ascended armor for that you feel it needs to be so widely accessible (even though a lot of people have it and have gotten it without issue)?

WvW? Nope.
PvP? Nope.
Dungeons? Nope.
FoTM? 1-30 Nope. (can put 5 AR on each trinket), and even then if you are running FoTM 20-29, you have a chance to get infused rings, which you can put +10-15 AR on each, meaning you don’t even really need Ascended armor until FoTM40.

So FoTM40+. That’s the only place you need Ascended armor.

The % of players that run FoTM40+ is pretty small compared to the normal population.

I just don’t see the need for it. If you simply want to have the best gear available, then you will have to put forth the effort that thousands of others have.

Im tired of Zerg fest zones, cant we get a mapping one, one with hearts, SP, Small events etc…

The new Zone is awesome, but I dont want o be force to play with 20 other ppl to complete sometime all the time, yes Its an MMO, but there needs to be Me time sometimes, you know what Im saying?

But isn’t that what the LS is supposed to fulfill? The time to complete the LS and all achievements is the same if not more than if the zone simply had hearts/SPs/WPs/POIs.

I do exploration solo anyway. The new map has POIs and Vistas doesn’kitten

It will be no different than the last expansion that came out. Everyone that used to play it will be all pumped and will go and play it. 1-2 weeks later when they all hit level/gear cap they will get bored and come back to GW2.

It’s really nothing new. That’s the cycle of that game now. Release expansion, everyone that had quit since the last expansion throws their money at the expansion to play it, then they all get bored in a couple of weeks, the numbers die down again, and then everyone waits for the next expansion. And in that meantime play GW2.

Blizzard really has their player base figured out and how to squeeze money out of them.

Definitely agree with OP.

I’m all for people wanting to mix/max for speed clearing. Lord knows I’ve done it. But after it is all said and done and you’ve obtained everything you want and have completed all of the content in the game. Zerk speed runs become so mind-numbingly BORING.

I get it, some of you want maximum efficiency because you are still farming for whatever it is you’re farming for. But after hundreds of dungeon/FoTM runs in full-on OMG xpert zerk mode 15k AP or you are a scrub, it becomes a complete chore.

I would much rather spend my runs in casual mode now. To swap my skills/traits/weapons/stats to something I haven’t tried. Maybe I’ll try out a Guard spirit weapon build in FoTM50, or my dual axe ranger, and bring my Nomad Elementalist friend and a couple of necros, both condition build. I mean, why not? In my opinion it makes the content much harder not using the statistically best gear and best group make-up.

Mixing it up is all that is left for some of us. So it isn’t that we dislike the zerk meta, there’s certainly a place for it, but some of us have evolved beyond it at this point. Simply for the fun of it.

Nomad ele..
lol. What a waste of a party slot.

You clearly have not run with one lol. Makes our FoTM50 seem like a FoTM5…

But then again I don’t subscribe to any meta. I don’t mind the pace being slower if it is easier. Some people like playing the harder content like FoTM50 casually, maybe while drinking a beer and watching TV. Maybe missing some dodges here and there y because that one Victoria’s Secret commercial came on. That’s where a Nomad ele comes in….

Don’t knock it til you try it. Unless you are a min/maxer and aren’t satisfied with anything that isn’t the absolute fastest run possible with no down-time and no tolerance for people having “fun” during the srsbznz that is GW2.

I mean…3k aoe heals from their auto-attack…yea…I’ll take some of that on my fractals runs… Good players are good players regardless of build. Sure your completion time will vary depending on stats build, but the difficulty/focus needed will vary as well. I like my casual pace just fine. I also respect the zerker meta that likes to complete content quickly. Different strokes, people, different strokes…

I dont need to run with one, even in fotm 50 ty.

I’ll take my faster runs thanks.

edit: it still feels no harder than fotm level 1 if people know how to play, instead of needing babysitting.

Need? You don’t need any class in this game. You can run 5 of any class and complete the hardest content in this game.

I’m glad you like your faster runs. I’ve run the meta. I’ve run it for a long time. Zerk warrior, guard, ele. I’ve done it all for a very long time and have evolved beyond the meta. I mean, once you have everything in this game that you could possibly want, sticking to the meta for the 1000th fotm run is, I dunno, kinda boring and definitely lame, no offense…

When you get to this level you will understand. In the meantime enjoy your speed clears. If that gives you joy then I am happy for you. It gave me lots of joy while I was collecting 1000s of gold for the items I wanted. Now I want to play for, you know, fun. It’s more fun to put our team at a statistical disadvantage.

Dodging and proper placement is not difficult to learn, so while I get that most people find the zerk meta to be the be all, end all of metas, that requires oh so much skill because you have do gasp dodge properly and reflect properly. Once you’ve done it forever and know every fight and have no problems dodging/using skills, it really is the easiest build in the game. Everything dies so quickly. Some day you will understand. I was like you. Once.

So you have wealth?
which can be gotten from the TP?
GG on your proof of skill.

You sound like the majority of players who can’t actually play the meta. “no offence”.

“Offense”

Can’t play the meta? Playing the meta is not difficult. Especially if you have a regular team you play with. You fly through content without speaking a word to each other. Everything flows so smoothly and dies so quickly.

I never said it didn’t take skill to play the meta. I’m saying that playing the meta, while requiring a bit of skill up front, once learned, makes the majority of the content in the game laughable. Not only that, playing the meta requires a specific type of game-play. One that focuses on proper skill and dodge use, and quite honestly requires paying more attention than I feel like at this point in my GW2 timeline. In the end, however, FoTM is FoTM.

After hundreds of FoTM runs using the same boring zerk meta; it becomes stale. I mean, what am I working towards? The fractal skins I want? Done. Money? Done. Ascended armor? Done. Fractal backpiece? Done.

I’m at the point where the only reason I run FoTM is to assist guildies. So why continue to use the same boring zerker meta? For speed clears? Why? What possible reason do I have to need a speed clear? I would much rather relax and play the hardest content leisurely after playing it hardcore for so long.

Like I said. You will eventually get to this point when you’ve played more, if you haven’t already. Trust me.

As the post above highlights, healing power is useful for afking content and bypass mechanics. If anything, it should be nerfed in pve because it allows substantial regen and disable the need for dodging.

I’m sorry, did you consider missing a dodge here and there as AFKing content? I’d love to see a team AFK FoTM50 just because a Nomad Elementalist is in the group…

It doesn’t eliminate the need for dodging, but it certainly eliminates the need for dodging perfectly. And isn’t that the point of support skills? I mean I guess Guards shouldn’t use reflect wall because it eliminates the need for dodging projectiles…and I guess nobody should use any Stability skills as that also eliminates the need for dodging certain knock-back attacks. In fact, I guess nobody should use any skills beyond 1-5….

Will level cap raise?

They could do what Destiny did. Level 20 gear is the highest level gear, but you can increase your actual level up to 30 with another stat called Light.

For GW2 it could work with infusions. To get to level 90, you need to get to 80, then get Exotic level 80 gear (I would say Ascended, but most people aren’t interested in Ascended, so it would be most fair to allow people to hit 90 with exotics as well), and then as you play you gather certain materials or do certain quests for items that you can use to upgrade your armor (for GW2 it would not increase your actual stats, but rather add an infusion of sorts that levels you from 80 to 81, if you infuse your boots, for example).

A level 80 and a level 90 would have the same exact stats, just the level 90 guys will have access to harder content. To keep things fair, and more in line with GW2, this would be a good opportunity to include Hard-mode. Same dungeons, but mobs are level 90. They hit harder, have more health, etc. Maybe additional conditions.

Maybe hitting level 90 gives a title and you glow faintly or something. Gives something for bored 80s to do, while not limiting content for those who choose not to pursue level 90.

new maps and tasks to existing maps

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Hello everyone

I think one of the things that will make this game more fun is adding a new level cap.

but that will mean new maps, but Anet can add lets say 5 maps at once unless its an expansion, and Anet is mainly focused on Living world, so I thought about it for a while and here is an idea that may solve the problem.

since the living world will change things in the game, so why not make the livving world to change something big in the game and will add new quests to some maps plus the old quests, so the players that are new will still get to the required level and move on.

so for example lets take frostgorge sound, most quests there are focused on the sons of Svanir, since Jormag was defeated, the sons of Svanir are kind of weak now, and the new elder Jungle dragon is rising, lets add a new faction to the game that will effect (lets say) 10 maps in the game adding new content to play and a new level cap.

and with a new level cap comes new armor rarity, that would be nice, I don’t have name for the new rarity, it would be nice if someone can come out with something.

you have an idea, just right it down below, Thank you

So you are essentially suggesting vertical progression? As in, people with Ascended level 80 gear would have to re-gear at new level cap? And then what? Everyone gets to 90, or 100, gets best gear, and…..? Sits around for a couple of years until they raise the cap again?

Raising the level accomplishes nothing. It is an artificial difficulty increase. What’s the difference if they add a new level 80 zone with harder monsters (Dry Top for example) vs. a level 90 zone? The level itself is meaningless, it’s the difficulty that people want typically.

As a dedicated player, I can speak for other GW2 dedicated players when I say we would have a mass exodus if level cap was ever raised, requiring a re-gear. The appeal of GW2 is that you can get your characters in the best gear and then you are done. You can leave for a year, come back, and your character is still max gear. Why would you want it any other way?

WvW groups rely on the Water fields generated by the Ele on a near constant basis, so I’m not sure what your actual complaint is.

He honestly thought he could play a character with maxed Heal Power and stand in the back of a group healing.

Healing power is not useless in PvP, that’s for darn sure. And quite honestly, in PvE, healing power can make a somewhat difficult encounter into a wtfez encounter with a properly geared elementalist (Nomad set for example).

If you were expecting to be able to gear up a character so that your teammates will never have to heal themselves, then I’m afraid you were expecting too much. There is no trinity in this game.

map expansions incoming?

I’ve thought, for a long time now, that they’re working on an expansion. Which would explain why so little new areas are being added to the game, or how slowly they’re being added.

It’s very easy to make assumptions…but that’s all they really are.

I think that is too much faith in a company that doesn’t give a kitten about its players anymore.

They abandoned GW1 what is stopping them from doing it to 2, it already feels like they have to me. I hope you are right and they are working on an xpac but I HIGHLY doubt it.

I took ANet much less time to put out triple the content in GW1.

You put too little faith in a company that you think can produce miracles over night. This is a whole different ball game for a lot of reasons, but some people don’t want to accept it.

Guild Wars 1 was NOT an MMO and not being an MMO it had different sensibilities. For one thing, the playerbase was less divided than the Guild Wars 2 playerbase. Which means changes that you like other people might hate.

It’s not just about coming out with content. That’s the misnomer. Anet doesn’t come out with content because they don’t care.

Sorry Anet is coming out with content I’m enjoying. They’re not coming out with content you want. Everything is much easier when you’re not the one doing it.

Then ANet had a terrible business plan.

Here I was, a customer of ANet, willing to spend my money on solid content (aka expansions/DLCs/call it what you want), already on the ship, no need to convince me to buy the game.
Like so many others I have met on the journey. We were ready to throw our money in their pockets.
But all we got was the feeling, that the game was released early, and ANet spent the last two years to change the game into whatever it is now. And still – no real content on the horizon.

Meanwhile, I have spent my money on another game, even willing to pay a monthly fee to get the entertainment ANet missed to deliver. Even though I loved GW2 at release and was sure I would play it way longer.

Why would any company think this behaviour is a good idea. Why are they so eager to recruit new players, when the game is more or less old news and an actual expansion would probably lure more new people to the game than the failure of a LS is right now? What is the point?

I would fire the whole marketing department if it was my company. It is not, so I just spend my money somewhere else.

But, can you honestly say they would have made more money from kitten expansion than they have already made from gem store sales? I’ve personally spent well over $250 on the gem store at this point. That’s 5 “expansion” box sales just to me. I know people who have spent over $1000 (though this is typically an extreme).

Can’t say it’s bad business if their bottom line is yielding more than an expansion would have (especially considering the amount of development work that would need to go into an expansion with acceptable content by today’s standards). It likely is proving far more lucrative to space releases out over the long term (via LS) and tossing in cutesy cosmetic/convenience items on the gem store for ~$10-20 in the meantime.

Will level cap raise?

No level cap needed. Simply harder content/zones will fill that role.

What does raising the level cap even accomplish beyond making gear obsolete? Just wastes everyone’s time to get to the new level cap and end up in the same exact boat we’re in. Now everybody is 90 and asking for the same stuff we were asking about when we were 80.

‘…instanced co-operative group based ‘challenging’ content…’

I am little bit disappointed to hear that. I was always hoping GW2 would have the courage to build on past experiences and to try out new concepts of inclusive, open raid events. It’s sad to learn that we are heading for the same old exclusive type of “you are not welcome here” content.

~MRA

I think “raid” content is meant to be separate from open world. We have open world content, and likely current bosses will be revamped much like Teq/Triple Trouble. Hopefully that content will continue alongside this topic.

But there is a need for larger than 5-man instanced content. Something a guild can do together on their own without the need to involve PUGs. (10-20man is ideal)

Many people who are still playing since beta (myself included) are still around because of their guilds/relationships they’ve created. To many people these relationships are what keep them going and as time goes on there needs to be content that focuses on these established relationships. Mashing a bunch of PUGs together is great and all (sorta), but being able to do challenging content with your guild that benefits all members is the next logical step for GW2.

End Dungeons Statistics

I just don’t want it to turn into a competition for numbers, simply for the sake of making the leaderboard. For example someone purposely ignoring a targeted boss/champ or something so they can AoE crit a bunch of adds to boost their DPS numbers (like a zerker guard with staff just running around spamming #1 to crit 5 mobs at the same time, while doing laughable damage to a boss/champ that everyone else is trying to burn quick).

I’ve seen it in Destiny even, since it shows number of kills at the end. Me and a buddy are trying to drop a boss, while the 3rd dude is off somewhere killing unnecessary adds so his numbers look awesome at the end.

Not saying I’m against end of dungeon stats, I can just see people only focusing on that, while throwing group strategy completely out of the window.

It’s the same reason healers in WoW would heal tanks/groups that weren’t theirs, so that they would get good heal stats, all the while my giant heal I was about to land goes straight to overheal numbers because some paladin/druid ninja healed my tank for the numbers. Then at the end of the match people wonder what the hell I was doing because my overheal numbers were so high…

People become more obsessed with the numbers than with the actual outcome of the fight.

I see lots of people in the Grove (30-40). Typically around Reckoner’s WP (TP/bank area). My usual play times are primetime : 8-10pm EST on Fort Aspenwood.

LA definitely has more people in general. Always has (except when Scarlet was actively attacking it of course)

Map Completion isn't worth it...

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Draknar.5748

I think all they really need to do to make map completion “worth” it is to have both a Transmutation Charge AND a Black Lion Key drop with each map. Right now the mats, and the experience and (at lower levels) the relatively lackluster loot don’t motivate me much. Every map I’ve completed since the last update I did in the hope of getting a BLK. Of course I nearly always seem to get the Transformation Charge (which is useless to me since I’m sitting on 130+ of them).

Charge yes, key, no.

People don’t need to be motivated for map completion because it isn’t required for anything. If you want to craft a legendary then that would be motivation enough to do it for the Gifts. But outside of that, why exactly do you need to be motivated to do something that is completely optional? And I don’t mean optional like Ascended armor is optional (has a slight stat benefit, which is motivation enough). I’m meaning optional like there is absolutely no benefit whatsoever to map completion. You either want to do it or you don’t. That’s it.

How do I report...?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

I was told just to right click on them and report them for botting in the PvP community forums.

Botting is not the correct category, and I think Anet frowns upon false reports of botting. I know I would want the false accuser reprimanded if they were accusing me of botting when I wasn’t. Isn’t there an “Other” category to choose from where you can describe exactly what they are doing?

No there isn’t, that’s the problem I listed to ArenaNet and the PvP community responded to put it under botting. If there isn’t a right category to put it under, then I and others can’t say its a false report. If Anet doesn’t come out with the category of “leeching” as they did in GW1, then what other choice do we have than to report them as botting?

Leeching is basically botting but with no movement, so I agree with what the PvP Community is saying. Until ArenaNet gives us an “other” or “leeching” category.

I don’t think you understand what botting is. Botting is typically having a 3rd party program do keystrokes for you, play for you. The “leeching” as you’ve described is someone purposely sitting still at the entrance to get some credit from a PvP match. I don’t think it can ever be called botting if there are no scripts/3rd party programs involved.

I’m not saying that the botting category is wrong for your complaint, since apparently they have no appropriate category for what you described. But saying leeching is basically botting without movement is a bit of an overstatement, IMO.

As opposed to…….Anet not being paid for anything except box sales?

Sometimes I feel like you guys are simply opposed to companies making a profit. That they should provide goods and services to us for years without any means of recouping their losses for development.

People buy keys in hopes they get ticket scraps. They get enough scraps they get a ticket. They use said ticket on a cosmetic skin they want that gives no advantage. What’s the problem, now? Only people who pay real money can get anything? Gee, the last 2 BL skins I got were purchased directly from TP, didn’t even have to spend real money.

OP, if you are upset about the ticket scrap drop rate, then why not just save up gold and buy whatever skin it is you want. If you are strictly farming keys to sell skins for profit, then I dunno what to tell you. Only you can decide if your gold/hr is good doing that. If it isn’t, then find something else to do to make money.

EDIT: Oh and tons of badges which can be used to outfit in Exotic gear. So quite honestly, being naked, unarmed, and broke, you could conceivably have full exotic armor and weapons in ~2weeks if you do nothing but EoTM train all day.

I love completing maps. But I never am in a hurry to do so (in fact, I think the slowest I’ve finished a character to 80 was by mapping only three maps: Metrica, Caledon and Brisban)

The one thing I hate is WvW.

Once is enough for me. Can’t bear to do map completion in WvW again..

/shiver

I love it when you pver’s come to wvw looking for map, the feels i get when i gank you and you pt me. /flex

Wow you must be real good killing those PvE’rs that are looking for POIs/SPs. I mean, they almost know that they are engaging in a fight while looking at their map. Totally /flex worthy. Totally.

I mean, some might call it cowardice to purposely target the weak and oblivious, but I say, to heck with those people! It takes skill to find the weak ones while avoiding the skilled players!

Indeed. It really takes skill to kill somebody who has only a quarter of life left while trying to kill the spider lady (who also had about a quarter of life left, I think I did rather well until that donkey came around and finished me, considering I was about lvl 15)

The guy that killed you must have been really awesome then! WOWEE think of all the /flex-ing he must have been doing. That’s skill you can be proud of!

haha if they dont do it retroactivelay (in case they even do it at all) i feel with that 1 guy that has over 18 world completitions xD

Admittedly if they did do something like this and didn’t reward it retroactively, a lot of people would be kittened off. Considering they didn’t retroactively reward lvl 80s with the most recent leveling reward revamps, I don’t think they would with this. Due to the outrage this would cause, I can honestly see that as enough deterrent to implementing something like this at all.

Except that I typically get more loot in a FoTM run or a couple hours in EoTM train than all of the 1-80 rewards combined…

I don’t think it’s necessary to retro us those particular rewards. Laurels for map completion, yes, I would want the retro’d as there is no way to supplement that commodity. But just loot in general? Nah, no thanks, I get enough salvage fodder.

Destiny is going through a similar casual vs. hardcore fight at the moment. Destiny employs an RNG loot system, similar to GW2. In order to get the best of the best gear you need to do a 6man raid (or just get a lucky drop) and you have a chance at getting the good stuff.

They anticipated people would get upset about playing and getting no loot, so they have a vendor show up every weekend that can also sell you some of that awesome loot in exchange for currency (similar-ish to dungeon marks).

Now this is where the hard-cores start to lose their kitten. It’s not fair, they say. Why should casuals have access to the best gear when they had to get it the “real” way. In their minds, it is more hard-core to get one lucky drop in one dungeon than for the “casuals” to grind for weeks to get enough currency to get the same item the “hard-core” guy got in a couple hours of playing.

They just can’t wrap around their heads that they aren’t the special little flowers that they used to be and if they actually quit the game, no one would notice.

Most players start out hard-core when they are students/unemployed, since they have the time. Eventually they get lives and then they understand that hard-core is merely a term to describe hours played, not skill. You can be an amazing player and casual, just like you can a hard-core player and bad.

does GW2 have a future?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Draknar.5748

GW2 still has the best base mechanics of pretty much any MMO out there. Right now, it’s a bit lacking on current content for veteran players, but that will likely be changing (devs are looking into Guild Halls/GvG and they recently put up a posting to hire someone to develop “raid” content).

It’s easy to get ‘grass-is-greener-on-the-other-side’ perspective, but really GW2 is a really polished MMO that’s in a good, stable state compared to other MMOs that are either losing big chunks of the community right after launch, are overwhelmed by gold spammers/hackers, or just don’t have the quality of gameplay overall that this game has.

I wouldn’t say GW2 has the best base mechanics. I mean, the combat is cool, and you got some cool class mechanics like the ele’s attunements, but the actual functional effects of skills or the combined interaction behind them is very weak.

At least in PvE, there is very little thought process going on behind what you do when you fight, and very little relevance of anything which isn’t some sort of a DPS increase or a group DPS increase. You mainly just spam everything that’s a DPS increase when it goes off cooldown.

Personally for me at least, the best part of MMO combat is using your skills to their fullest potential and seeing all the synergies play out, interrupting your target at the right time, stuff like that. GW2 really lacks on that front at the moment.

You don’t try and time blinds, stability, combos, interrupts, reflects, knockbacks, condition/boon removal/conversion properly? If you don’t, then you can’t possibly speak on the combat in GW2. There is far more than what is on the surface if you actually look into it.

There’s a reason why, in PvP, you can go up against two players, both same class, same skills, same traits/stats, and have one completely own you and the other one die effortlessly. Some people actually try to use the combat mechanics. The ones that just spam their DPS skills are the ones that lose to any slightly above average player.

I think what you are trying to say is that, although GW2 combat mechanics can be complex, there is little PvE content that requires that level of combat mechanics, so most players can get away with spamming their highest DPS skills. In actuality, the ability to get through most of the PvE content without having to think too hard is what makes GW2 so casual friendly. Some people just like mindless button mashing.

And breaking up the grind from time to time with crafting, or fishing, or exploring, or looking for lore, or whatever is available in any given game, doesn’t remove the grind. It doesn’t make it less of an issue. Instead, the game needs to feel like it flows, and is always fun no matter what I’m doing.
