sorry if this is a silly question but.. how do i read this? so for example Dusk says “Crafting Price(buy)” is 634g then "Trading Price(buy) is 970g does this means that it is way better to do the collection and then buy all the mats to craft it than just buy it straight?

I’d rephrase the question. After the black eye this event gave ANet — having a dedicated, massively policed for right-think “positive feedback/suggestions” thread is just shy of a “the building’s on fire” level of damage control for ArenaNet — we’re NOT going to see the event again. We might see a substantially revamped version if they can come up with some proper tech to dis-incentivize the tap-&-run tactics.

The right question is “Will there be sources of the blooms-currency in the future?”

I want to know this too, I have 205 blooms and I have no idea if i should hold on to these or spend it already with boxes. Wish Anet will make an official announcement about this

Hi! I know this is too much to ask but there is no harm in trying. I got married last May but due to my financial state I wasn’t able to buy my wife a wedding dress. I have made a character on her behalf because I want to immortalize her on my gaming world too. When the Wedding dress outfit was announced I was so excited to buy it so that even if in my cyber world I could buy her the dress, but alas I am not expecting it to be expensive.

So my formal request, if a gifter permits, I wish for the Wedding Dress outfit. Wish you all the best!

So far its either continue my mesmer( but yea its still harder to get a group) or make guardian or ele.

I main a mesmer and been using her whenever I play fractals. But for now I am stucked at doing level 49 fractal because I dont have enough AR for level 50. I wanted to regularly do high level fractals but what i have observed from my experience, I am having trouble looking for group because I am a mesmer. My question is if i want to make a high level fractal runner class, what should I make? should I continue with my mesmer? If not, what class then?

Can someone explain to me what does mimic do and how to use it? ????

There is a practice mode in Heart of the mist right? you can practice there, dont need another feature just to add duel mode in pve for pvp..

For those of you who want to pvp, just go to pvp mode. If you want to add duel still, push it as an additional mode in PVP not in PVE

I personally don’t want it i hope it will never be implemented.

For me Dueling will actually kill pvp mode of the game because now you dont need to go to HoTM to kill players. Hence not really a way to promote pvp. If you guys want pvp, just go to GW2’s pvp which is Heart of the Mist.

For all the benefits you stated, all I see is “bragging rights”. Not really a benefit on my personal stand.

if you want safe trading, use the trading post. personal trading encourages map chat clogs and scams as i’ve experience on other mmorpg

Trading post basically unusable, lost a lot of gold because it told me an error occured.
Bought the same stuff again, with another error. Later I had all of the gold removed at once and received all the items that the system told me couldn’t be purchased. Thanks…

edit: just checked and I didn’t even receive all the stuff I order but the TP took as much gold as if I had. Wow, great…

this happened to me as well, selling mats and did not realized that TP doesn’t give the gold

Haha I do that sometimes; I tend to waste pockets of 70g in the MF so sometimes I transform into a quaggas and sit on a rock and send 15-20g to people who pass me and email them saying the Mighty Quagg Quagg bestows his blessing on you. 3/10 people send the gold back. Makes me sad

ok so using reflects because projectiles will not hurt you is now considered exploits. lets remove the idea of reflects now..

Bosses were never meant to die in 15 seconds from their own projectile mechanics. Use your brain.

we actually used our brain, its projectile so we reflect it because we have reflect. If the boss dies because of reflected high damage then they should have nerf the damage or put a damage cap on reflect. Not just make reflect useless on projectiles.

I am not sad that we 1 shot bosses (i am a mesmer but never even did this). I am sad because now there will be less reason to bring mesmers in dungeon because our reflects wont help the party.

Just nerf the reflect damage. with that change, our reflect still works that helps the party and the boss still lives because we did not one shot him. No exploits done, no utilities rendered almost useless

with all these said and done, all i see is that reflection on this game is now almost useless, its like they are saying to players that special utilities like reflections are only for trash mobs and if you encounter some boss, just dps in all the way.

If the huge damage reflection is the problem then why not put a damage cap on reflects or just do something about that damage, not making a unique mechanic/utility useless and then force us to just dps the boss
