Special action key treasure to find treasure but when I went to do the heart quest to scare animals, I couldn’t. So, I tried to go after the treasure but it was outside of the playable area. Like a logic error, I think I had to restart the game or something in order to do the heart quest. Don’t remember now.
I use the look behind keybind everywhere; Raids, WvW, PvE, PvP. But it does not work when i’m riding the raptor. I don’t understand why, unless the functionality was overlooked.

Today. In this screenshot for Bear Lope guild rush. 15 Crossed, No Credit and Time was still going. 7 minutes remaining. Everyone crossed the finish line. In the chat log it says Guild Rush failed, even though there was time remaining. We did get experience and karma rewards.

Sigil of fire, when using a sigil on my warrior weapon, It would proc Flame blast but not Fire. What bothers me is that, Flame blast skill on an Engineer would proc Physical and fire damage on the area.
But now if you just read the description on Flame blast, you kind of ask your self which skill does it do, would it be NOTE: Fire a napalm ball that rolls through the foes and explodes." or Detonate Flame Blast – Detonate your napalme ball. Both of these skills add fire damage, but Where is the fire damage added?
Or was it just Nerf and its not really fire, its a flame image blast.
It was changed 2-3 years ago. Intentionally does not have burning.

Five guildies crossed the finish line of Ghost Wolf Run. None of us got the chest today. Time limit was 31 mins, we over 8 mins to spare.
I did half a dungeon run the other night just to be kicked at the final boss because I was a necro. It was freaking CoF.
I would take a screenshot and submit to Anet, so they can handle it. That’s messed up.

Dyes are working well for me too, so the weapon preview change affected armor and weapons only. I believe it may have something to do with Anet changing the player wielded animation in preview. Not sure though

Anyone notice, this week, several areas of the Gilded Hallow has been changed? By the war room there is more stone. In the Guild Vault there is a brick pattern and the amount of gold (money) seems to be reduce. The multi balloons texture has changed as well, smoother. Almost looks like they are made of rubber now instead of glass. North of the guild trader it use to be really shiny but has been replace with grass or green moss. Several changes xD.
After the Tuesday changes, Cleansing Burst only seems to activate once on turret deployment and never again. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? If so, I feel heal turret should be reverted back to its old functionality. I don’t always want to waist my condition removal on turret deployment (if I have no conditions on me).
For years, you use to be able to clear one item at a time when previewing them on your character. Now when you right click on an item and go to clear preview, all of your armor pieces goes away. This started happening 1-2 months ago.
Yes, it’s normal and working as intended. Unfortunately, Blocking only prevents someone from whispering or mailing you. It doesn’t remove them from your pool of LFG listings.

This may be my inner fanboy speaking (Or the 5k hours cough cough) but the game is definitely worth 60$.
Playing through all 4 campaigns will probably take you at least 100hrs. (150-200 if doing some side quests) And that is with one character only, no hardmode, no titles, no friends to play elite content and dungeons, no farming for some nice looking gear and no PvP (okay this one is basically non existant these days)
That being said though I really wouldn’t mind them putting it on discount to get some new players into it who maybe haven’t seen it yet. And it’s not like goldsellers or bots could get any worse…
I’m with you on that, but still. The game is indeed a decade old and might not get any content updates in the future plus there is no trial – it’s a blind investment that doesn’t sound all that appealing despite the game itself being awesome.

I was also unsure of which end-court was my team’s. But, I thought that was just me, as I’m horrid at these kinds of mini-games.
Yup, not just you, the green and yellow scheme goes against the red and blue colors Anet has been using for years.
I believe its always been that way, the AI on Bitterfrost has been improved. They’re not the simple Svanir of Frostgorge. For years, many players complained GW2 AI in Core Maps is too simple and boring. The new behavior makes fights a bit more challenging, because now you need to immoblize, cripple, or chill the foe to keep them in your aoe attacks. Now, the AI will actually try to avoid your attacks xD.
Did a gain we won by 50 points gained 13 MMR.
Another game, won by 350 points and gained 12 MMR.
Lost a game by 30 points and lost 13 MMR.
Its hard for myself and some other friends to continue to do leagues, because we don’t understand the new point gain\lose system. I read Anet comments, that if you win by a large majority of points you should get more points than what you gain if you won by a slim margin. But this has not been the case for us.
Feedback from when our guild did Basket Brawl
1) When scoring a point for blue team our score is incremented when the match is over all our points went to red team instead. Having better indicators of where to take the ball too instead the Yellow and Green side of the court would be helpful. For instance, have the court use red and blue color schemes instead.
2) Make the ball easier to see, there was a lot of time wasted because we couldn’t see the ball with the green and yellow color scheme. Instead, I used my commander tag and put a marker on the ball. That way everyone in the squad was able to see it.
Is it normal to see the LFG advertisements of people you blocked? I thought LFG hid blocked people from search results.
I guess i’ll have to, just crashed today on character switch. After not crashing for a week.

When joining a rank game, and before the match actually begins, I sometimes switch characters. When this happen, the game client crashes and i’m asked to send a bug report to anet. However, the match is about to begin…so, I have to close out the send message dialogue box so I can get back in the ranked match quickly.
[Work around]
When restarting the game, I won’t always be pulled into the match. The only way to trigger it, is for me to waypoint to another map. Then GW2 pulls me into the ranked game.
After a grueling process, 4 guildies and myself did not get the rewards for crossing the finish line. The rest of the guild did, we waited the full 15 mins and no chest rewards for the guild rush (race) Crab Scuttle. This occurred 2 hours after reset, today.
We crossed all checkpoint markers and transformed at the end, the fireworks started as well.
Update the game put me in LA so I changed maps to Gendarren and I was then pulled into the sPvP match.
There were 20 seconds before the match started and the game crashed. I loaded back in 30 seconds later and the game is refusing to let me enter. So, the team I’m on is doing a 4 v 5. Is this a bug?
I started pvping less where I would lose 30 points from a single loss and gain 15 points from a win. I also started playing less when we’re force to redo placement matches and start every season with people of any division level.
This is all my opinion, if you don’t agree it’s fine.
For seasons in 2016, when the season ended you and everyone else would be place in a similar division when the next league started. Under the new system, you have to do several matches and then the algorithm will determine where you are suppose to be it.
Unfortunately, the algorithm does not take into account people that play in non mainstream hours. For those that play when spvp traffic is low, the queue is smaller overall. So, during the placement games you may find yourself paired with people that are significantly less experience in sPvP. Lose several games and then be place in a lower division. Then you have to work your way back up division ladders again with teammates that are less experience. For example, I just finish a match where four of my teammates decided to fight right outside of the spawn and to capture any point on the map. I understand this can be normal behavior for division 1 players but not division 3+. Since, I’m playing during off hours I’m running into several people that are either extremely skilled and should be higher divisions like 4+ or division 1. There isn’t any consistency. Its almost like playing unranked arena.
Previous seasons separated high and low performing players into similar division they were previously in. Imo, the new system is not working well during non popular hours where the pvp queue is low. So, what I’m face with is waiting for the really skilled players to advance to their proper divisions and for the lower division players to become more experience to have decent matches on both sides again. For that game I mentioned earlier, the score was 43 to 501.

I was only DCed once to twice today, so hopefully the issue has been resolved.

The problem is that there is no continuity because the Dungeon Story Modes aren’t part of the Personal Story until Arah.
They made Arah soloable because it wasn’t fair to force a dungeon experience on people in order to finish the story. I would like to see the same treatment done to all the story modes, and ALSO to have them integrated into the Personal Story so that you have to do each of them in order at their appropriate intervals of where they would fit into the story.
What I don’t like about making Arah story into Personal Story is that it is no longer repeatable. A lot of players, like replaying dungeon stories. It would be great, if Anet made personal story repeatable.
That would be nice, and I think it’s something they might be working on eventually, but I don’t know.
Yeah, years ago they said it would be something would like to do. However, later on several employees expressed on the forums that didn’t really see the point of doing it. When we started pointing out lore reasons, some Anet employees began to see where we were coming from. I have several characters, I haven’t completed personal story on due to its lack of replay-ability. I would rather play through it years from now, so I can get a reminder of the story.
Yes, did this and only 1 person got the achievement. It would be nice if they listed that it is bugged and to wait for a fix, since you have 20 people standing around waiting for it and then can’t get it.

Also, experiencing the same bug. Had 40 people in the squad only 1-2 got the achievement. Later, 2 of us were doing the event. Someone joined at the end and completed the achievement. Moonlighting seems to encourage players not to tell others that the event is up. That message is against GW2’s everyone plays together message, I feel it is also bugged.

I use to spvp for 2-5 hours a day for each league, now I’m doing 1-3 matches. Mostly recently, 1 match every 3 days with the melting pot of players method.
I 2nd the idea to show a team’s average mmr rating after a match has conclude. I play at odd times, sometimes it feels like the queue is forcing lower rank and higher rank players to fight against each other when less people are queuing.
In the past, when i fought against a legendary or diamond player and decent…I felt satisfied. Scratch that, I felt encourage to keep pvping. With the unknown divisions, I don’t feel motivated to PvP because I don’t know whether someone is in the same division than me or higher. I’m sure this isn’t the same for everyone but the reason I play pvp is to better myself at people that are equal or same division I’m in. With no indicators of my opponents division, I have significantly reduce the number of games I participate in for Season 5.

Anet, decided to scrap the Guild Wars 1 Expansion Utopia and replace it for GW2. A lot of what they wanted to do for Utopia was better place in a new game. However, some elements of Utopia were included in Eye of the North. My opinion, in short, Anet didn’t kill the GW1 community imo. People in general like new things in life, GW2 was the new shiny.
Don’t throw them out, wait until the next release.

Failure is relative and I bet there will be a wvw backpack one year, if the community is vocal enough about it.
Is there any reason people can target you in Winter Wonderland? I mean, it seems like there no real legitimate reason it’s necessary to allow that other than possibly ANet wants people to be able to harass other players.
This probably isn’t helpful, but I immediately target the person back. Eventually, they give up on targetting me because they are tired of “target relay.”
I know we can have music from the starter cities, but I rather like the music for Wintersday in Divinity’s Reach and the Halloween theme in LA is quite cool as well. It would be a nice feature to be able obtain those for our Guild Hall. Since many Guild will decorate their Hall for each festival, it would add an extra, optional ambience.
