It was much worse than expected… and i expected it to be bad
The finisher is not even permanent, the rewards for 1st place are pathetic and need to be changed.
The chest reward was a slap on my face, if i knew it would be this bad i would not have wasted time killing 225 dolyaks
So, there we were waiting for tequatl to show up, a few minutes left, every turret manned and with defense teams ready when suddenly: “let the fun begin”
Scarlet begins her invasion at Sparkfly Fen and because of that tequatl fails to spawn, so there we are, the entire overflow sitting ready to battle just to have scarlet pop up, knock people back, say “screw you all” and retreat before we can damage her, meanwhile tequatl is taking a 40 min nap, really really fun.
Can we stop these events already? The invasions are long, boring and not rewarding enough, no reason to do it, no reason for it to exist.
I hope they send us all 49 more cogs.

I got cogs from 5 tixx runs, the lions arch chest and mail gift, i finished 3 minis and im left with 200 cogs, is there a way to get more 50? (or more 300?)
I liked it, just get someone with stunbreakers and swiftness for the farthest wisp

Im glad fractals are not the graveyard zerg all other dungeons are, this is how a dungeon is supposed to be, fractals are perfect and should not get changed.
I hope they will, even better if they added some really rare ones with parodies/references

Gratz you have 8+ hours to keep at it until you learn every jump etc. Some of us do not have that time frame, and some people just stink at jumping games in video games.
I don’t mind a challenge but when you have other players in your way, depth perception issues and other issues it is really not fair. I have over the last 2 days managed to do it like 30 times and I have YET to make it past the 1st jumping part (right after you have to wait at the beginning)
I just don’t believe that achievements should be handed out based off of a skill some people JUST DO NOT HAVE

Same worry here, i might be very busy on 31st.
i rather prefer the more fun-type events in WOW versus time sink events like carve 150 pumpkins or gather 100 tort bags etc.
Implying the tower was not the most fun jumping puzzle ever

Beating the clock tower gave a sense of accomplishment that I hadn’t had in a while from this game so thanks! Sometime it gets a little stale if its not hard~
This, i left my character cheerfully dancing in front of the chest, while congratulating everyone that shown up there for 20 minutes, its a real achievement!
I just fear they have set the expectations way too high and people will moan if the next events are slightly less entertaining than halloween was.

Is the reward just the achievement, and a title? Any items?
title and achiev only, its not even required for the last achievement.
Maybe they had to rush the content in? better than not have the “gargoyles” at all.
This game needs a jump puzzle above the maze with lever to activate traps like the EB one, so more skilled villagers can fend against inquisitors.
Indeed, this event really impressed me, and its not over yet! Act 4 is still comming.

I loved every aspect of the clock tower, except the XBOXHUEG norns blocking the view, everything else was golden, the challenge is welcome!
Latency is not a problem because the movement is more client sided than anything else, stop making excuses. (i live in a third world country with terrible internet and had no problems)
The clock tower requires patience, once you stop raging and get yourself calm you can do it, i just kept trying without losing my temper and only needed a hour to learn it, now i can finish it once every 3 tries.
If you can’t do it, sorry, you do not deserve the achievement.
Ready? no? well thats unfortunate for you… because the game begins NOW!
Boss fights should last no more than 5 minutes, i find it insulting to have to sit my engineer and throw grenades at a boss for whole 10 minutes having “dodge the red circle” being the only challenge in the fight.
Bosses should be fast, have multiple attacks dont just rotate them in the same order all the time, huge health pools are lazy design, the boring bosses are the major flaw of this game and need adressing now!
Guardians have tons of blocks and heals even when not speced into that, if we had as much health and warriors or engineers we would be even more unkillable

Use the bomb kit, thats all you will ever need for leveling up
If this game was writen in Java the boss code would be:
Grenade kit with grenadier trait does obscene damage if the enemy don’t move away
Against kitten heartseeker thieves:
1. Get bomb, grenade kits and full exotic gear
2. As soon as the thief sees you and pop stealth drop confusion and smoke bombs
3. Drop the big bomb when he pop up behind you
4. The thief will damage himself in the confusion and miss the backstab due to smoke
5. Right before the big bomb explodes do a grenade barrage
6. thats a 10-15k burst damage if you have full zerker exotics, the thief is dead or badly damaged
7. finish him while he is still knocked down due to the big bomb
Against good thieves:
A heavy burst build (static discharge) and good enough reflexes to deal 15k damage before he does that to you
For the last 3 days every time i said LFG or LFM more than 2 times i was locked out of the map chat for an hour, who iam supposed to find a group if i can’t speak in the map chat?
Just give me a LFG tool then!

Thieves are designed to be a close/mid range class, they do not need rifles
Opening a parachute in a volcano SHOULD cause you to go back up since it’s filled with hot air and that air would get in the parachute.
Also, it would catch on fire.
But yeah, jumping from malchor’leap place and gliding around to see the teritorry would be nice, but it may not fit with the lore.
It would fit well, at least with engineers
I like the suggestion, but would most likely be used to exploit some dungeon or jumping puzzle by some kittens and end up removed.
Im talking about huge puzzles here, stuff like EB puzzle x3
Jumping puzzles are fine, stop being lazy.
If you want perma-swiftness roll an engineer or elementalist
If you want something pretty to show off craft a legendary
Enough with this, mounts are useless and out of place in the guild wars universe.
I think some of the people here just need to get out, you obviously don’t care about this, the door is over there don’t come again.
And this is also one of the reasons why I think GW2 should be a bit of a mod friendly game. If you have some models or textures in your back pocket maybe one should be allowed to replace them the ones in-game?
First of all, if you can’t deal with different opinions don’t come post on a forum, second Arenanet devs are against any modifications to game files, so don’t expect any mod support.
Your friend could use this opportunity as some kind of therapy, killing in-game spiders could lower his/her fears.
More progression is not needed, only more customization.

At least Hidden Killer thiefs have to press more than a single button, while Heartseeker Spammers can kill pressing ‘3’ only.
About your suggestion, while it would make the crit from stealth trait redundant and wasted when backstabbing it would fix the kitten numbers this build can pull off.
