My main issue is they have yet to figure out a way to stop clipping issues with hair. Even medium hair hangs out the back of this coat from behind.
It pretty much ruins the fun of the coat outfit completely, unless you go for shorthair, or missing hair (hat).
This set design is incomplete when they don’t work on clipping.

They should do something about it.

Season 1 had to be my favorite tbh.
I mean we had Super Adventure box, for 1… probably my favorite content of the game to date.
And escape from Lions Arch, plus the battle for Lions arch, kicking Scarlet’s kitten was amazing . I also really enjoyed the community’s team work with the bosses involved during those events. Probably one of my fondest Living World content in a wide environment for PvE, so far. It Put SW to shame… in terms of fun.

Season 2 had some really good parts, too, like the Caithe storyline and playthrew, and fighting the dragon.
I just didn’t enjoy how the content was poured out and how little effort was needed to complete something that should last longer than an hour. It felt typical and more boring as I wondered why i cared to see the next chapter come about. Of course, replaying it from the start to the end (now it’s all unlocked) might make it feel smoother and more enjoyable, despite it still being long drawn out and segmented.

I can understand with hair issues on the head models.
Each helmet covers a certain amount of the head, so for each race/hairstyle and helmet, you’d have to make sure the clipping doesn’t occur between the items position on the head and the hair’s shape and bulkiness. I haven’t a clue how long that’d take to complete. I haven’t done modelling in a while since KotOR 2. -.-

You could c lone a few of the non-unique hair pieces (short, medium, long, ponytail) to use as alternative hair models (that are used once helms are equipped). You’d be better off removing certain areas of the upper hair that is often unseen while an item is equipped, to avoid clipping.

I am kinda surprised this hasn’t been done at some point by their game devs, but I guess time is not easily spared lately.

I hope one day, when they get time, they’ll look into updating or reworking the battle of Zhaitan, completely..

I have to agree with Wooden Potatoes. They should have NEVER changed the level requirements for PS. It used to be fun to do, because having yourself 5 levels under (since it was barely hard anyway) made it some-what harder, and more like an actual hero storyline where you felt like you had actually contributed to the PS world and to your own enjoyment.
Now I literally do the lvl 10 PS, then ignore the rest. Used to love doing them too, before last years patch.

Just make short people with young faces. That’s how I made my RP character, “Link” from the Zelda series. Just don’t get creepy about it and you’ll be fine.

First they screw some of us over with SAB, then leave everyone with none of the old content while they make HoT, now they want all faith restored with an overpriced expansion whilst trying to creep their way out of the BS they originally wrote.
This company just keeps on getting better.

I like this idea, and it would be great, but, they should then allow the downed player to see the persons location on the map (when that player has tagged/marked you to rescue).

Otherwise, they could tag you but you wouldn’t know how far away they are (crucial in boss fights if you are close to a WP). Also, some @hole could just troll you if they were bored leaving you there.. dead for minutes, and you wouldn’t know how far away they are…or if they were really even coming. . xD

Maybe one day they’ll add some content before a big project, or prep some extra stuff on the side, before wizzing off their whole team to do an expansion like this.
Must admit, I’ve pretty much almost ceased even bothering to log in for dailys. Months of “lack of content”, and no SAB in the mean time pretty much just makes me want to forget about the expansion altogether.

Just play a little less, your key members will be there for HoT even if you (or they) are barely active now. Go play another MMO like SW or FF until the major changes arrive and the expansion, or go and find another hobby. I wouldn’t just stick around if no-one in guild (yourself included) wants to be online very much, with the lack of content.

If only they didn’t have issues with SAB, or adding other old content, to pass the time.

SAB cuddley toys, or figures or w/e. Even cooler if they made the in-game noises. :P

SAB minis are my favorite, but…, Scarlet’s hologram, Bat, and Tequatl seem to be my alt minis..

Just wish we could sit on the current chairs we have in game :/

For me, I don’t have any issues with any class
-but.. I make most of my characters based on other characters, from shows and games, so if I don’t like the class skills, pet, or stealth etc, I just have to get over it, or decide not to make that RP character.

4 and 5 are kind of possible, but 4 hasn’t got a decent hair style to match with the scarf skin, and we don’t have any hair that’s thinning, for 5 . :P
I think someone did the 8th Doctor, but I haven’t seen him for a while. I did 12 and 9, but that was ages before I found out that 12’s jacket was going to be a light black , not dark blue. :/

I only have 1 Norn, 2 Sylvari, 1 Asura, and 1 Charr, and even they are all RP based.
The rest are all Humans on this account, and another 6 on the other account.

Gear cost is low tbh. The only thing that is expensive are the skins, to change appearence of weapons and gear. I find the OP is either not getting his view fully threw, or just hasn’t spent enough time getting to know the game.

The armor quality only matters if you are doing speed runs in dungeons. Most PUG groups couldn’t care less about your gear.

About scarlet, I recently met a sylvari player that looked pretty much identical to scarlet.

Scarlet isn’t to bad to make, but the one I struggled to find a good face on, was Caithe.

This… is why Arena Net should have added a few new weapons. Warr, Rev, and Guardian would be ideal with a Spear/Pole-arm, and also a Javelin with a shield (like in Fire Emblem) which could be thrown from afar, or used up close.
Then some want poleaxes and scythers.
Ideally a weapon on a long chain which thieves could use, and Gaurdians could swing it at enemies whilst the other hand had the shield.

Not sure about this new specialisation, but I will give it a chance, I mean they’d have to have a reason for thinking this was okay to use.

Not sure if already mentioned, but why not just have a tick-box in settings, to disable the notification/warning box?

an option in video settings to make nights, caves, and other dark locations not so impossibly dark. I have to crank the gamma to 1.5 in particularly bad locations indoors

I don’t mind an option to make it darker as long as I get one to make it lighter.

Agreed, it’s worse when you go from “full screen” mode, to “windowed fullscreen”, as it disables the gamma bar from being changed.
