Its not for you if you bought it based on what was said in the manifesto.
How is it that the exit survey was reported as broken 4 months ago and it still isn’t fixed?
Why do you keep making threads about this? You had one last week saying the same exact thing. We get it you don’t like the game. Just leave if you are leaving the game and quit trolling the forum.
Because I do like the game or at least the idea anet sold before release, but they are going away from that with every patch.
Go uninstall it and it will ask you to fill out a survey, when you click the link the site is dead. So yes there is suppose to be one, try using your brain next time before screaming troll
No one cares. You’ll reinstall anyway. See you in a week or two.
I care and anet should care, and no I wont be back in a week or two its already been over a month. Thanksfor posting and keeping it at the top of the page though
(edited by Kromica.2831)
Alternatively, you can perform the Last Gripe here in the forums…
Only if you want to get an infraction and have it deleted. I still like to think that they care a little bit about why people are leaving.
One does not simply exit GW2.
Oh its very easy to do, just wish the survey worked.
How is it that the exit survey was reported as broken 4 months ago and it still isn’t fixed?
Erm… ok.
If that’s all that there is then they really should not have hyped up the “do more of the dailies and you’ll get more stuff!”. The EXP gain from completing the daily is minimal, and the achievement points are just bragging points – you don’t get to use them for the in-game content.
And no, I wasn’t asking for more Laurels or Jugs of Karma. I was just asking if that was all we are really getting – minimal experience, which in my personal opinion, is not worth trying to do ALL of the dailies.
Now if they did it to where you got say, 50 silver, then at least it would / could be worth it.
But I never said I wanted more Laurels or Jugs of Karma. That would just be too OP.
You would think by now people would know not to believe the anet hype machine
It doesn’t work with guesting.
This patch is as big a fail as the infamous Nov patch.
I respectfully disagree. Nothing will ever remove 11/15 as the day of infamy. As bad as 2/26 may be, 11/15 remains #1.
I do think that anet is capable of surpassing how bad 11/15 was they just need a little more time.
This patch is so awesome that im contemplating uninstalling the game.
I already did, Anet is hell bent on taking GW2 down the same path as every other mmo that has been released in the last 10 years. Sorry Anet but this kitten isn’t what I payed for.
I have spent 1100hrs in this game and nothing has been epic yet.
why should our guild be at a disadvantage compared to other guilds? is it fair that we have to spend our hard earned gold to do new released content because anet caters to large guilds? please stop trying to give suggestions or advice. We do not want to do that and will not do that. We want to be treated fairly and these guild missions are not doing it.
catering to your tiny “Guild” would be unfair to all the larger guild that actually put the work and time into recruiting the dozens/hundreds of members they have, your not asking for things to be fair, your asking for the game to cater to your special needs and ignoring everyone elses work because your to lazy to work for any of your gear.
in that case, its unfair that i don’t have all my condition damage set, because i don’t like any of the dungeons that can give me the equipment i need, and i dont like gathering materials or gold to earn them. boo hoo.
What work and time, you spam in zone chat and invite anyone that wants in just so you can suck the influence off them.
if its as easy as your implying, then it only proves my point even more, if it is THAT easy, then you truly must be the laziest person on this earth to be unwilling to go through the trouble, and do not deserve the reward.
that point aside, yes, there are guilds that recruit with map spam, those groups still need to invest a lot of time to recruit that many members, however, recruiting this way will not earn you the influence everybody seems to assume you will, they hardly group up, and as a result, earn influence equivalent to a guild 1/10th its size (grouping up and doing events gives you 20 influence, while running solo nets you 2).
Yes I am lazy because I don’t want to have a guild of 500 people, like I said before the 4 people left in my guild that was originally 10 can do everything in the game except bal and grenth, there was never a need to recruit people and I am not going to have some kittenty designed content dictate what my guild is.

Has it ever occurred to you that bigger guilds worked for it too? Yes, perhaps each person as an individual didn’t have to contribute to as much, but the collective effort is absolutely the same.
In your logic, it would be fair for someone to get an A+ on a group project they did solo in 4 hours compared to a group who invested 4 hours per person to get an A+.
If I was good enough to earn that A+ solo then why isn’t it fair?
Suppose everyone is equal to you then. Unless you imply that small guilds deserve special treatment.
No one deserves special treatment it should be equal across the board and based on skill like GW2 was advertised, and with each patch anet moves further and further away from that.

Could you not work together with a few other small guilds to complete the content, or are you just set on not playing with anyone else or working together with other like-minded guilds?
Helping other guilds doesn’t earn rep for your guild.

With the downward spiral the patches have taken us on I am terrified at what will happen when an expansion comes out.
I can see it now.
40man raids with increased stats, no one asked for it but we added it anyways.
Rep grinding for stat upgrades, we though it would be fun.
Waypoint costs were a little cheap so now it will cost you 1gem to use them.
Also Nexon wants more money so we are going to start selling new abilities and stat upgrades in the gem store.
your 7 man guild is only a guild out of a technicality, am i entitled to all the guild rewards by making a 1 man guild? of course not, join a real guild instead of getting angry about not being handed rewards for clicking the “create guild” button
The 4 members that are left in my guild can complete everything in the game ourselves except for bal and grenth so we are a real guild
Because they wanted to create an mmo without grind….. They are doing a wonderful job don’t you think?
On par with every patch before it, very lackluster.
When are you people going to realize that Anet will limit the amount of gold you can make when ever possible.
…quitting a game you don’t pay for monthly that has given you 10x any content that a single player game can offer is laughable.
That statement is laughable. 10x more content than any SP game can offer? Lulz, not only is it not true, but why are you comparing SP games to GW2…? GW2 cannot be played offline AFAIK.
I’m comparing it to a SP game because you don’t pay for it monthly, unlike most MMO’s. Name one SP game that can even come close. You can’t do it. Try again.
Skyrim.
I do think the game has gotten worse since release
By offering a variety of content, we can have a game that lots of people can enjoy. There’s a lot of content out there, but there’s not a whole lot of things for a coordinated group to do larger than 5 people to do. Guild missions were made to remedy that.
There is nothing left for the 5 man groups to do anymore either, the dungeons and events can only be done so much before I want to punch a baby.
Just another nerf to a lackluster boon.
I hope for a reason to log in with each patch, but from what I have read about guild missions I will just have to keep waiting.
Sorry but if your guild is 5 man, thats a group not a guild, there does have to be some restriction. we cant have every small guild dropping events endlessly.
Oh I’m sorry, I thought our guild was a real guild since we have a bank and an emblem and everything. Thanks for clarifying that a real guild is made up of 5+x people!
Your absolutely a guild, but I think players want, and mmo’s have always provided, content that simply requires more than 5 people.
Gw2 is not the same as every other mmo, at least it wasn’t when it came out but more and more they are turning it in to the same old game that has been out for years.
My rl friends guild was excited for this there have only been 4 of us left playing for a while now. We are still able to do everything in game on our own but doing the same things day in and day out gets old ( especially with terrible rewards) so we thought we might finally have some reason to log back in but it really doesn’t look like it.
March is the wvw patch
Terrible terrible move
Someone who has multiple copies of the game so there is no way to stop them besides blocking them yourself.
The bigger matter is guilds that do this just to log in to a server they are playing against and sabotage them by wasting supplies.
Is actually pretty simple, they said before that there are different levels of difficulty. So if you have a small guild, just do the ones that only requires a few. That is it.
In an interview it was said the the easier ones can be done with 15 – 20 people. Some might consider that a small guild but my guild of rl friends has 4 of us left since others quit playing long ago and so far there hasn’t been anything in the game we haven’t been able to do until now.
The new areas look cool, but as for the actual missions they show in the video I see nothing to get excited about.
8 core x86 CPU (easy to program for since its PC based)
8 GB DDR5 Ram
AMD GPUThose specs are nice on paper, but they mean nothing if the SDK is a pain to work with. If it’s like the PS3 …Well, my money is on the next M$ console….
I have high hopes for both but I have a bad feeling that M$ is going away from gaming and more in to multimedia.
2 in somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,960 hours open world exo drops. Got one around 400 hrs and one around 1,200 hrs. Hopefully I’ll get another in next 140 hrs.
I find it hard that someone who has at least 1900 hours in game would only have got 2 exotics, ever.
I have 1100+ hours and have never had an exotic drop in the open world. I have gotten 3 cloth armor exos on my guardian from fractal chess but that was when fractals first came out.
I want to see Orr restored to its former greatness.
When i was watching gw1 Trailer, I really like the sentence in the end: " The world of peace are over!" Why you want to bring the peace back!!! dude!
You should go play Darkfall, I think it’s right up your alley.
If you want a weapon that will always have the highest stats possible then a legendary is your best bet because every time they add a new tier of gear the legendary weapons will just have the stats changed.
Before anyone jumps all over me ,they never said that ascended was the last tier, all they said was no new tiers released in 2013 and that is because they are taking the whole year to roll ascended out.
Not worth it at all
If tagging for loot credit is the only issue, then it may not fix what some of my characters have been experiencing. Was I not getting loot credit for doing all of the damage needed to kill a mob (i.e., I was solo)? Guess I’ll see what happens with the patch.
This was my issue as well, after 20-30 mins of playing loot would just stop
One question…why do you want these legendary weapons so badly?
It’s just a cosmetic item designed as an end-game item to be obtained after several months of playing the game, stats wise you can obtain an equally good weapon within 3 days max.Nobody gonna look at you in a different manner if you obtain a legendary and neither you become a celebrity, all you do is customizing your character, it’s just for fun…no need to put all this effort if you don’t like it, there are equally good looking skins out there
I wanted a great sword because imo the others in the game are ugly
Does it work with cultural armor too?
No it does not
If you run around hitting the loot button like most people I know you will miss them very easily, not that it really matters because they don’t even work, I love getting porous bones from my chests.

Gw2 is very picky with the exact hardware setup you have. Certain specific CPU/GPU combinations work better than others.
I had an nvidia 470GTX when GW2 came out an the game ran flawlessly. After it died I bought a 680GTX and now I get video lag when turning quickly and sometime momentary screen freezes, it makes no sense at all.
(edited by Kromica.2831)
I lost a lot of faith in the game when cosmetic progression was thrown out the window.
Anet, will you survive this loss too?
I am sure they will be fine, after all they can just continue to nerf the game to get people to buy more gems.
I lost a lot of faith in the game when cosmetic progression was thrown out the window.
Hit level 80 on my necro and I feel lost. What should I be doing now?
same as before: grind. but now you should grind armor and ascended stuff. or go play anoher game which will probably be more fun.
Pretty much this.
You can join the boring zerging in wvw.
Join the 12 or so people that still do spvp.
If you want to pve you either grind events for karma for gear, grind dungeons for tokens for gear, grind mobs for crafting mats to make your own gear, or do all of it to make gold to buy gear from the TP.
Once you have done the events/dungeons hundreds of times or crafted the gear you quit playing because there is nothing else to do.
Please keep contributing to these forums.
We need more people like you who stopped playing to sacrifice their precious time and make sure to keep as many people away from GW2.
You are a special martyr, deserve a medal and a monument!
I am sorry the truth hurts your feelings

I received an infraction for telling the truth, these forums are great. Anet please fix your uninstall survey so I can tell you what why I can’t find any reason to log in, of course you will probably give me an infraction for that to since I am not a blind fanboy.
It is so bad that I don’t log in any more because there is no point playing when everything that drops is worthless.
